The Federation Of Golden Underwear was founded on a rainey night in 1996, during an attempt to liven up a boring night on IRC in the DALnet #TMNT chat room. A small bit of role playing about the Starship Undiprise (ala Star Trek) turned into a global organization of individuals who all have the same respect toward golden lengerie.

The Federation, or FOGU as it's commonly refered to as, has many copycat groups who have tried to duplicate the ideals of FOGU and mold them into their own corrupt version. Groups like the Federation Of Silver Underwear (FOSU), the Federation Of No Underwear (FONU), and other replicas try to steal the origionality of FOGU. The members of FOGU know that there is no matching the great powers of the Golden Underwear (or GU), and concider the copycat groups as vain attempts to steal the glory away from FOGU.

FOGU's main goal is to prove to the world that Golden Underwear is the most awe-inspiring piece of clothing in existance. Any form of Golden Underwear is appreciated, whether it's briefs, boxers, bikini, or even bloomers. It can be either gold fabric or the actual metal gold, which ever is more comfortable for the FOGUite. Cherubae, the founding member of FOGU, actually wears the metal version of Golden Underwear (it matches her metallic golden boots).

This location will soon have a "FOGU art gallery" and various other sections. There will be also a section where you can sign up to become a member of FOGU (all FOGU memberships are free!). Until then, keep the undies golden!
