Popolocrois Patch | Posted at 12:55 PM 25 July 2015
For this week, players of Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley are still tackling the last mutation left to be documented, and there's no official word yet as to when the European players will be able to download the Super Dewey 2.0 patch. The Japanese version of Return to Popolocrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale is still in the sales charts, although it has dropped off a bit since the game is over a month old now. Famitsu estimates the game's retail sales to be approximately 64,000. It is interesting to note that the game has a high retail/digital price of 5940 Yen. When Story of Seasons was released in February 2014, its price was only 4800 Yen. Even though the official Popolocrois: Bokujou Monogatari website says digital is 5500 Yen, the Nintendo eShop (as of today) states 5940 Yen. For digital downloads, Popolo also requires more SD card space: SoS is 4456 blocks, while Popolo is 8957 blocks. So, I went ahead and did my part to help sales, even if is towards undisclosed digital sales :) Also, there is now a 2.0 patch in the JP Nintendo eShop for Popolo that allows players to change the random battle frequency and adds a harder difficulty mode for more experienced players (easy, normal, and difficult are now available choices). These options can be changed at any time within the game's option menu. The patch also made some balance adjustments to the game such as with the item crafting system. The Popolo 2.0 patch is a free download. - Cher (Yesterday it was 82° F, today it is raining. *shrug*)
