TLV DLC for EU on Aug 4 | Posted at 04:51 PM 31 July 2015
Rising Star Games has announced that DLC packs for Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley are coming out next Tuesday, August 4th. I am guessing this will be the two download content crops packs: Soybean/Basil and Cocoa/Olives. Also, there's still no official information on an EU release for Story of Seasons. Marvelous EU has confirmed on their Facebook page (Warning: Senran Kagura boobies galore!) that the company won't be handling the EU release, but that doesn't mean that it won't ever be released. With XSeed Games rejoicing about its over 100,000 sales (woo!), the game is anticipated to come out in the PAL region at some point in the future. The farming aspect of Return to Popolocrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale is pretty simple. You can buy seeds from the general stores, receive them as rewards for completing requests from villagers, or obtain them by defeating the monsters in the game. Seeds can be planted on the appropriate farm area. For example, you can plant the Pote Potato seeds on your beginning farm, but not in the fields of the Quiet Forest Farm. After you plant the seeds and water the crops, you just have to wait for the seedlings to grow. The growth time is based on the the time you are spending in the game, instead of going to bed for a certain number of days like in mainline Bokujou Monogatari games. For example, it takes about 50 minutes of playtime for a Pure White Turnip to mature from seed to harvest. An alert will appear on the top screen of the Nintendo 3DS when a crop is ready to be harvested, but it doesn't notify you which one of your crops is ready; the alert just tells you the farm location where the crop can be found. You'll also be alerted when a crop needs watering or when one of the special girls you can befriend is thinking of you. - Cher (Can't believe it is almost August already. Time for Christmas light extravaganza planning!)
