The March edition of Nintendo DREAM magazine arrived from Japan last week, which included an article about Story of Seasons: Precious Friends of the 3 Hometowns. Unfortunately, there wasn't really much in the way of new information in it, as the article outline the same points as the original press information released by Marvelous: the pets, farm circle overview, Wes Town villagers, controlling the layout of your farm and interior farm house, etc. One thing it did mention is that you select your specialty type at the start of the game. It gave the examples of the Animal Lover type and the Sportsman type. Selecting your speciality at the beginning of the game will change your farm livelihood a little bit, but it didn't go into any further explanation. screen shotThe official Bokumono Twitter also posted some tidbits this week. Besides some new screen shots, the admin confirmed that the shipping bin will return in Precious Friends. The crops grow in a 3x3 grid on one plot, which is similar to Story of Seasons. The official website will be updated in mid-February, so watch for the tweets regarding its release. The 4-col comic in the March edition of Nintendo DREAM hints that there'll be a transition soon; from main character Ibuki to the new plaid-shirted male main character from Precious Friends, Kanata. From Natsume's side, Harvest Moon: Seeds of Memories has been patched and updated to version 1.1 in order to fix the issue with Tony not giving players an Axe when they talk to him. Also, Brutus now has the option of several types of materials to upgrade your farm house to level 3, which you'll need if you want to have children. There were also "bug fixes and performance improvements," but I don't think that translates to "Oh yea, we added Doc into the game." Well poo. An official release date for the other platforms has not been announced yet. Today (Friday the 29th), starting at 3:00 pm Pacific Time (-8 GMT), XSeed Games will be streaming Popolocrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale live on their XSeed Games Twitch Channel. You can watch the game being played by Popolocrois fan and XSeed localizer Tom, who will be responding to your questions in Twitch chat. Stop by and say "Hi" to localizer Tom and watch him brushing his Pacapacas (har har har...) Until next time! - Cher (January is gone already? Holy smokes! Soon it'll be gardening time!)
