The saloon where the villagers go to relax is owned by Griffin. When Muffy moved out of the city he gave her a place to stay and a job as well. Each evening the two of them serve drinks as his bar. Griffin is a gentle fellow and enjoys playing his guitar when he's not working.

Muffy is talking to Griffin about how he use to be a musician. Griffin says in the heart of the shop is a sleeping, old guitar. The guitar tells a story of his ancestor who use to play it. Muffy tells him his story is lovely.

Griffin meets up with Muffy on the bridge and notices she looks concerned. Muffy explains she just got a letter from a friend who is marrying a man she use to associate with, and she just wants to cry about it. Griffin comforts her by telling her she'll feel better after she cries, and she can return to the bar when she has finished.

Muffy is a little sad because she has no luck with men. She claims she's never had the chance to date a decent man before. Griffin thinks it's because she has a poor judgement of men and mentions all of the men in the valley are pretty good. Why doesn't she look around here? Muffy had never thought to look for a good date locally and she thanks him for the suggestion.

Muffy is thinking about what Griffin had told her before about finding a nice man locally in the valley. Griffin tells her to take her time since she can't find anyone she really can connect with. He's the only one she can really talk to. That's when Muffy realizes there is someone she can click with and he's standing right in front of her! Griffin is a little taken back by what she's saying but Muffy is incredibly happy to find someone.
