Ushi No Tane - Harvest Moon

The BFs are my favorite love interests in this game. I also ship Jill/All-of-the-girls so.. Yea.

I guess I would've done it simply because it's a feature none of the other games have ^^ It's interesting to try something different.

In my opinion, it doesn't matter if one was going to use th BFS or not, the option had to be available. Just like choosing to play as a boy or a girl. Some don't like this, I believe it's a must. In game, you need these options.

Absolutely. I was actually really unhappy they took it out; I've wished for something like that pretty much since I started playing the Harvest Moon series. :( That's why I didn't buy it. I'm learning Japanese, so I'm importing the Japanese version so I can not-quite-marry Witch Princess. :lol:

I'm pretty sure they're not going to put that kind of option in any future game now; I heard that it nearly didn't get translated at all because they didn't know what to do with the best friends thing. Even though you have to work pretty hard to get it (since they're the special girls) and it's not like something you have to do by any means.

He's a « Harvest Goddess », so he probably sleeps around. :shifty:

I think they should've kept it, but I wouldn't have done it ^^; Maybe if Skye wasn't there (who is the only romantic bachelor in. the whole game. pssht.)

Best friends are nice and all, but I like boys :P Plus, I'd feel pretty dodgy if I got handed a mystery baby from an old, bald harvest « Harvest Goddess ». I mean, where did he get it??

i would so be there. i think the bf system was nice considering the bachelor choices. also, i would have wanted to be bfs with a mineral town girl, but would the game end with that?

The culture is homophobic, so that is a start. I know that some fanatics would have started protesting the game, if it had a "lesbian" option in it. Imagine the horror!

My mom was in those fanatic circles, and she was horrified when I told her that in HM (SNES) "I" was marrying a girl.

I actually liked the bachelors. Cardboard yes, but I didn't hate any of them. I would still like to be able to best friend though. I still think it'd be cool to be buddies with the WP. :)
