The freeze/lag are « Puppy Doodoo ».
Stormy day. Stamina decreases fast. Fainted. Finished the day at 5am the next morning. Then sunny day. Finished all the work on Bluebell, going to Konohana at 1pm. Freeze @_@ 2 days lost.

The lagging happens in the Konohana field when I water or harvest the crops, but it's not really an issue for me, since the in-game time is lagged too. About the freezing, it stopped happening to me after I quit the petting mini game. I do it eventually when I can't avoid it though.

I have lag on my farm in Konohoa but haven't frozen since I stopped letting my daughter play my 3DS.
As for settings, I play with the 3D off and usually have my wifi off as well. I only use my 3DS to play so since my daughter got her own (she goes on the store and plays demos and plays videos on Nintendo Video) I don't freeze anymore.
I still do the petting minigame occasionally when I want extra points with a new animal but it never seemed to affect the freezing like my daughter playing online did.

Mine is really weird, in my first file it would freeze on the mountain and it would lag on my farm when my animals were out, but after summer it stopped and now works fine, and I'm in year 3 fall. In my second file I have had no problems, but I'm only in year 1 summer, so I'm just hoping it will stay this way now.

Mine is laggy from beginning. Tutorial is laggy and kono field when I am watering is laggy. I bought regular DS one before and played it till I got this 3DS one...but regular one was way better. I'm going to miss the graphics from 3DS, but I can actually get to play. What a waste of $40.

What do you mean by settings? Are there things you can change to the game play? How?
I've gotten absolutely zero lag. I do get 'stuck' in the mountains sometimes...but It's because I'm trying to run through walls or rocks, not because of the game. =P

Also, I haven't even used my 3DS to the point that it would be an issue with the system, so I'm glad to find that it's an issue with the game (although I'm still pretty peeved by all the freezing and hard resetting).

mmmm mine runs perfectly fine. Well....I got lag once or twice on my farm in Bluebell but that was about it. No freezing or any other lagging problems.

My game has froze on my twice now. Both times during a trip to the mountains, in between loading one area to the next. The lag on my farm (in konohana) is noticeable but not terrible. Is it just the 3DS version that's having problems?

No freezes yet, but the lag is getting annoying. It lags quite a bit when I'm in, or near, my crop field in Konohana. I haven't upgraded my field at all there yet so I'm dreading how the lag will probably worsen after I do.
