Thanks so much! So about 75% of them are in the waterfall area... that's interesting... Anyway, that's so helpful, I'll post if I get anything...

Yeah, those are in the right order. Great explanation.

I might have the first 2 bear events swapped in order...It's been awhile now since I got them, but here goes -

Event 1: After the first tunnel expansion, Konohana Mid-Mountain (waterfall) screen, the boulders at the bottom-left corner are broken up to give you a "back way" over into Konohana High-Mountain.

Event 2: After the second tunnel expansion, Konohana Mid-Mountain (waterfall) screen, the boulders at the top-left corner are broken up to give you another way into Konohana High-Mountain, but this way is just a little dead-end forage spot where you can find the occasional bug, or during storms or in Winter mostly, a scrap metal, copper, or ore stone.

Event 3: After the third tunnel expansion (so it's now clear all the way across), Konohana Mid-Mountain (waterfall) screen, the single boulder across the jumping-stones in the stream (where Mako goes sometimes to "inspect the plants for mutations" and there's usually a couple monkeys hanging out) is broken to reveal a bouncy mushroom that will propel you back up to the main path if you don't want to jump back up the ledges.

Event 4: After fully completing the mine expansions (waaaaay later in the game), Bluebell High-Mountain, a lone boulder on the lower left area is broken to reveal a bouncy mushroom that will allow you to access that lower area you can see under the wooden bridge where a bear often hangs out. It's just another forage spot.

I'm pretty sure I got mine in summer. So i'm not sure if it's just in the spring time, i think it's also summer as well.
I've only gotten one though, so I can't tell you about any others. The one I got is in the area closest to konohana where the waterfall is, there is a boulder below the waterfall, and it crashes through it, so you can cut into the next area.

Thanks! Does anybody have the specific order in which they unlock?

You have to walk to the location somewhere between 11:00AM-4:00PM I believe. I got the first bear event at like 11:30AM walking up the mountain to the mid Konohana section.

I have 2 tunnel expanisons, but I have yet to see a Bear Event. Unfortunatley, I'm currently in Winter, so I have to wait until Spring. I was wondering, does anybody have the Time, Order, and/or the Location of the Bear Events?
