If I might suggest an addition - there's this lovely thread by songstorm that fleshes out the bug catching data really nicely. It's certainly not 100% complete, but so far I've found it to be accurate and helpful when trying to find and catch a particular bug.

THIS. Is so helpful and I was actually thinking myself that some of those very things you've included needed to be compiled somewhere useful for future reference, but that I had already lost track of them due to not being the sort who bookmarks very often... :P Thanks for this, now I only have to make sure I don't lose this one thread XP

I can provide another data point for alpacas. Both of mine died at about 2.5 years old. (The second one was right before the alpaca animal festival, too, grrr.) I bought them on the same day, and they died about two weeks apart.

Neither had ever been sick or dirty, and they had full hearts.

*sigh* It's going to be a long time and a lot of treats before I have another two alpacas that have full hearts and give 4 wool each time.

I was trying to make a signature that included some of the threads that I have bookmarked here on UNot, but I was having a hard time picking and choosing while staying within the text limit. Solution: I'm making this thread so that I can update it with useful posts, threads, documents, pictures and other sites. That way, it's all in one link to share with everyone. :)

Feel free to post stuff for consideration. Please don't feel hurt if I don't include it. I'm trying to keep the list as short an succinct as possible, so I'm avoiding double information as much as possible. I may also remove something you've added if someone shares a better, more accurate, or more complete version.

Link:Crop Profit Guide
Description: List of the profits of each crop by season. Does not take into account potential profit of turning crops into seeds/perfumes, but it is a good place to start.

Link:Things to Save
Description:A nice list of items you need to save for important requests and upgrades.

Link:BlueTrillium's Ore Guide
Description: Trying to find ore? Trying to figure out how to guarantee star levels of items within? When should you crack them open? This thread has your answers.

Link:Treat Chart Google Doc
Description:A basic chart for how many treats to feed each animal to level up production.

Link:Image of grid breaking down the fully expanded Konohana fields, by expansion
Description: Provided by Merridwyn. Very good for planning out planting schemes.

Link:Bug Hunting Guide
Description: Since Cher's guide isn't complete yet for bugs, this is one I use for reference. I have heard complaints on the forum of it being inaccurate, but I have yet to have a problem.

Link: LinkMasTer's Fertilizer Tests
Description: LinkMasTer thoughtfully tested a few hypothesizes concerning fertilizer and shared the conclusions. A good read if you want to get a better understanding of how fertilizers work.

Link:Clove's Fish to Keep for Cooking Guide
Description: Simple, but smart. A list of fish to keep stored in order to a) be efficient with your storage space, and b) be able to cook any fish recipe at any time.

Link:Fertilizer Formula to get 5 star Crops by End of Season
Description: BlueTrillium walks through the math involved in this one in the thread. If you can figure it out, it's really helpful!

Link: Complete List of Recipes
Description: Just a simple list of recipes in case you want to print it off to check them off as you go, or copy it into notepad to do the same.

Link: Bear Events
Description: Explanation of when and where the bear events happen and what needs to be upgraded.

Link: Percentage Chance of Animal Death by Year
Description: An interesting post, even if it has no verification or source. I'd love to find more concrete information on animal life spans.

More to come as I find 'em.
