Completionist and all but once I get most things done, I'm staying in Konohana. Much more relaxing taking care of a just a few animals and I like the layout of the Konohana farm better.

Well I wouldn't necessarily say one is better than the other; they both have their pros and cons. I personally preferred Bluebell though because of three reasons: 1) I personally like raising animals more than growing crops anyways 2) You can still use Konohana's fields while living in Bluebell 3) Howard lives in Bluebell

My personal favorite is Bluebell. My file that I am currently playing, I started in Kono and am upgrading the fields to the max, then I will be moving back to Bluebell; that way I can use the large fields in Kono and have the ability to have a bunch of animals! The fields that you are able to have in Kono are massive compared to Bluebells, but you have to live there to upgrade them, that is why I started there.

Well, in terms of money-making, I've heard that it's best to start with Bluebell, because you can still use the large Konohana fields, if you don't mind crossing the mountain. If you lived in Konohana, you wouldn't be able to use the large barns in Bluebell for livestock, so living in Bluebell kinda gives you the best of both...farms.

Murasaki is right, in that you need to go between both if you want to be a completionist and "get everything". However, since you asking about "better" along the lines of money/practicality, it would be Bluebell, because you can sleep in the town hall of Konohana, water crops on the fields there and then run back to Bluebell tend to a bunch of animals, thus giving you the chance to earn both farm's potential profits : ) Not saying I've done it, or whether it's easy or hard etc, but it's the slightly "better" choice of the two since you can then make use of both the main types of farming.

You need to live in both towns to get "everything" in this game. You can live in one and expand it fully or go back and forth like me to enter the cow/chicken/sheep festivals to get the gold/great products. You need Bluebell's makers and Konohana's seed maker to maximize your profits.
Both towns are good in their own ways.
When I live in Bluebell I only grow grains there so I wake up and run across to water Konohana then back to take care of my animals. Then do requests or forage over the mountain and get back to Konohana for the 2nd watering.

In my opinion,I would choose Konohana. The style of the town was nice and they made it Japanese style and all.I liked the festivals there more but there wasn't any Harmony Day. >.> But oh well.I also prefer making money by crops and fruit trees. You could also grow the crops in Bluebell so you can get more cash.

Which town is the best town to live in overall?
Which one do you make the most money in, and which one has the most exciting festival and etc? I know if you like animals maybe Bluebell would be better, but which town overall is the best---in your opinion?
