For some reason the critter list is in the middle of the item list on this game's index page. A fish list is there as well. The list under fishing is better.

And don't forget to check the weather. Some fishes/items can only be caught in rainy or stormy weather.

The fish guide on the main website does tell you where, when, and with what rod you can find the fish.

A really awesome poster named Songstorm did a critter/bug guide-http://fogu.com/hmforum/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=145141&hilit=critter+guide. It helped me get that last critter I couldn't find.

I'm aware of there being a fish guide on this site, but I want one that tells you when and where you get certain species.

Also I have never seen a bug guide.. Does anybody have one?
