I figured fans came up with the names cause I've never seen any names in any naming box(other than in the Wii games where the animals are given random names) Maybe if you try to use a blank name, it just gives you a default name?

I like them both but it's kinda odd that they gave one MC a western name and the other a Japanese name.

I like the name Hart! I may have to keep that name... But Rio has too many connotations. Like that bird from that movie. I also think of the name Ria, which was Laney's name before it was localized.

I like how Hart's name can be converted into romaji and still sound totally Japanese - most of the characters have non-Japanese sounding names, but anyway =) Though I'm to sure what would be the kanji combination be - a simple "spring"-"son" probably.
And I think it's great they've assigned default names, it would be easier to look up fanfics. Hart doesn't sound japanese to me at all, actually it sounds very strange for me because "Hart" means "hard" in german xD Rio, on the other side, is a real cute name! :3

Personally, I think Rio is a really beautiful name for the female MC ; u ; But, Hart for the male MC, not so much. It would've been better if they kept it as Haruto, but maybe that's just me...
