Yeah, it's too bad. I've rapidly lost interest since hearing it's closing down. I think I will just aim to make my farm pretty, take a screenshot, and be done. :(

Wow. I am sorry I let school work keep me away for so long. It is a shame that the game is going to get shut down. There were a lot of kind people on there, and it was fun.

Too bad. I know it would have happened if I had stayed or not, and in some ways I am happy then that I didn't pour more money into a game that is going to close, but maybe if more people like myself did it would have done better.

That's terrible! I had to take a forced 2-week vacation due to massive computer failure, and that's the worst news to come back to. ;_; I held off playing for a year, too, thinking that an English language publisher would inevitably snag it.

I can't help wondering... will they release gold box stuff after the end of July? Should I stock up on SP for the last two rounds?

When used, they shorten the refresh time. The animal one is animal-specific and the gust of wind is everything on your island.

Hello everyone. I started playing this game a few weeks ago and I love it. I would love to add anyone as a friend, my cords are 171, -483.

From one of the quests I got a reward. It looks like a bag of food with a chicken and cow with a fork and knife on it. Does anyone know what it does? I also have two items that look like a gust of wind... what does that do? Thanks.

We've decided to try to buy a house (irl) so I can't see spending any more moolah on games right now. Also, I graduated from college and am now out of excuses to finish my book. I'll be blogging on JimHillMedia.com and occasionally on 1up.com still, so I'll be at the E3, and I'm playing through ToT now to keep me sane when I get overwhelmed with all the history stuff I'm writing about.

But this game sometime very tricky. If you success too much without fail, next time it might harder to success. That why if you attempt to get the Rank 3 Animal, you must be careful. :)

Well, that happen when I exchange my dog (when I didn't know about the trick yet), one day I get many success (that mean that day is my success day) and get total 20 Cavaliers (I have 12 before and get 8 in that day), so I raise 5 of them to Lv5 and the rest Lv3. And I try to get Sheltie a few days after that, unfortunately that's my failed day, I get failed 4 times in straight (because I keep thinking "2 times failed, the third must success" and "3 time failed, the forth time must success"...) well, get the Sheltie at the fifth time, but I wasted 15 Cavaliers just to get one Sheltie.

So, I suggests you prepare some Rank 1 Animal to exchange until you feel that's your success day to try to get Rank 3 Animal.

The alt-color Tulip so crazy. There are 4 type of them, the drop rate is low, but require too much for trade (like the blue Tulip need 20 Vouchers), and each type have it own Grade Rank. Just image how much Vouchers you need collect to raise their ranks... :(

I wish they require drop Item from regrowth fruit tree. The sprites busy with their animal already.[/color]

DAC, I tried your only-trade-if-you're-succeeding trick, and it worked! I got 2 suffolk sheep and a Kogata penguin, without failing once! :D

[color=#FF00FF]For normal animal I often use Lv5, but for trade animal, after the fail of rat exchange, now I'm always raise a group of 15 or 20 to Lv7 to exchange with other Lv3, so the end I can get about 15-20 Rank 2, and continue raise 5 Rank 2 to Lv7 to exchange with other Rank 2 Lv3. :lol:

It's a pain to collect Items, so I can't take the risk to use the trade animal Lv5. Though when I get the Capabara, I failed many times and my Squirrel reach Lv8 already. :(

Anyway, I think it'll better to save your SP to buy the Candy for the Rank 3 Exchange, except it you want something "special", the Alt-color animals really useless. Because the "harvest animal" Quests require you to harvest adult normal animal, not Alt-color. :roll:

And the most annoying right now is collect Sneakers. I don't know what are they thinking, the Cow, Rat, and Monkey, all of them need Sneakers and not just one or two, it's 8-12 for each Trade. Well, maybe no one need more cow, but I suggest you pasture about 20-30 dogs to collect the Sneakers for Rat and Monkey. :? [/color]

It worked several weeks before for me as well, but I didn't buy into the last Cat minbox (since I have plenty of cats) and now when I try to add points I get rejected from MooG. I was just curious if anyone has been able to buy points within the last few weeks.

The percentages on the exchange are incredibly irritating. I have failed at three penguin -> Adele penguin exchanges so many times, even when I am using level 5 and 6 penguins. I have the same problem with the chimpanzees -> japanese monkeys and mice -> squirrel exchanges. Now I don't have enough items to get more of the base animals for the exchanges. Freak'n annoying!

Interesting theory, DAC. I have failed the Dreisdale trade so many times, at least 5 or 6, that I'm willing to try anything at this point. Last time it had a 64% success rate and STILL failed. Chickens it is.

[color=#FF00FF]I'm not get the Tailcoat from my Emperor Penguin yet but luckily grab 2 while helping the Emperor Penguins form other island. Right now I stopped help the Emperor Penguin so other people can have more chance to complete their quests. :lol:

But sadly, after got my only Emperor Penguin, some people just sneak in my island and ONLY help that Emperor Penguin. It's OK to help the Emperor Penguin, but I'm really dislike the one-click people like that. :(

If they continue do that, maybe I'll hide my Emperor Penguin. :?

By the way, the basic method for Online game if it's relate to probabilities (that not only work for in Game but also work in other Online Games), when you trade/upgrade something that have chance of success/failure, if you success more than failure try to trade/upgrade everything you have at that time, but if you failure one or two time in one straight, don't trade/upgrade anymore, because you'll get more failure, just wait until next day and try again.

That method help me get a bunch of higher rank animals. For example, I trade my dog with the rate only 35%, after success 2 times in straight, and failure at the third time, I try again and success at forth time, I keep trade and actually have 7/10 success at that time.

In other game, when I try to make something with rate 80%, I failure at first, so I think it's impossible to fail next time, but I failure again. I get success at the third time, but the forth and fifth time failed. Yeah, only 1/5 success with the rate 80%, it's hard to believe but it's actually happen.

So maybe you see my farm have a bunch of animal in same breed, but after one day, they might gone all and replace with a bunch second rank animals.

If you worry about the risk, you can prepare about 10-15 chicken at lv3, try to trade them, if you have 2-3 success, you can continue trade other animal, if you have 2-3 failure, don't trade that day. It doesn't take much time to get chicken Lv3..[/color]
