Looks like Zen United will be bringing A New Beginning to Europe.
Uh... considering what I've heard about their release time history, I hope you guys in Europe won't have to wait even longer than usual.

That's good news, finally :) Better a possible delay that not getting the game at all.

And now (or in 2-3 months) would be a bad time for releasing a HM game, in my opinion. Too close to the release date of Animal Crossing.

I just hope their translation policy includes spanish again. My cousin keeps watching me play, but she is 12 and doesn't speak english.

Is there anywhere I can find a list of good gifts for Hina? She doesn't have her own entry on the site. Basically I'm looking to know her favourite gift + some easy +500 gifts as well.

Also, can I still give bachelors chocolate things for +1000 on Winter Harmony Day?

In the first page of this topic there is a list of gifts for all villagers.

I can't remember where I found this, but her favorite gift is pudding a la mode, and her +500 gifts includes juices (probably all of them since I can't remember which specifically). She also likes flowers and butterflies which are easy, but those are only +300.

re: Winter Harmony: why wouldn't you be able to?

I e-mailed Marvelous AQL Europe to ask about whether or not this game is being release here, as Rising Star Games who usually localise have said flat out they are not working on it, and I got this reply:

"Hi Aimee,

Thanks for your mail. We're still finalising the plan for Harvest Moon: ANB for Europe, but we hope that it will be released in Europe later this year.

Best wishes

Harry"

So, for any other Europeans eagerly awaiting this game, there is some hope! There are plans to release it here this year. :)

So it sounds like Marvelous in Europe will localize it.

Not just a bit. Right now the only thing that's certain is that Rising Star is not going to publish it.

So unless someone else picks it, it's possible ANB won't get to Europe.

The funniest thing just happened to me XD I was fooling around with the Wifi setting, meeting random people to swap animal products, and I entered a room with only 1 other player. Their name was in Japanese (I just remember it involved わか) and they were wearing the panda costume. We did the swap, and they gave me a piece of bamboo. Then they just disappeared, without doing any milking or shearing.

It felt like I was visited by a rare item fairy XD Thank you, mysterious virtual panda. You're very generous.

Right, wifi could effect it. *nods* Also, llamas are like 1 day slower than brown/white alpacas too, if you were grouping them together. But yeah for me as long as I don't wifi-reset some of them all my sheep (regular and suffolk) grow wool on the same day and all my alpacas (brown and white) grow wool on the same day.

If you're not wifi'ing, what's happening with you is a bit of a headscratcher... the only other thing I can think of that might slow them down is maybe if you don't put out enough food for them? Like let's say you have 9 livestock but you feed them on grass outside and you only have one field full of grass (enough for 8 animals) out there. That's my next best guess anyway.

I don't think I phrased that well. Sheep and alpaca get clipped at different times, but I always clip all sheep at once and all alpaca at once.

So what's been happening is this: an alpaca will be a day or two behind on regrowing its wool, so I let it catch up to the others, and clip them all at once in a group, so they should all regrow at the same time. The next time, one of three alpaca will be behind again, two fully wooly with one still bare.

The same situation applies to my 3 sheep, but I rarely end up clipping sheep and alpaca on the same day.

Are you taking any of them to multiplayer? That will reset the wool.

Does anyone have any idea what's going on with my sheep and alpacas? They're all within half a heart of each other, but inevitably I have one out of three that isn't ready for shearing when the other two are. I wait for the last one to catch up, shear them all on the same day... and then it happens again next time. What's the cause of this?

sheep and alpacas regrow their fuzz at different rates
