well depending on who you marry it could take a while. It took me four years to marry Gray, it would have been three...but the year his birthday fell on a Thursday there was a blizzard and I didn't know about it until the day of and couldn't reload back. I like waiting though, it makes the game more interesting ^^ besides, if you have Cute...you can woo all of the guys ~and~ the special girls, so seeing all of their heart events is worth it :D

Thats actually not a bad idea since that will keep the game interesting I guess haha.Googaboga wrote:Does putting marriage off for forever count?
Cause I don't get married XD.
But I usually have no problem on working on farm work and romance at the same time, but I usually don't propose until after a couple or a few years since I like to keep the game going...if that makes sense...

The first time I played it, I married Kai as soon as I finished rescuing the sprites (I think everybody likes to get married early during their first time playing the game. lol). Second time, I waited until I've seen all rival marriages then married Kai again (What can I say? I'm loyal.. )
Now I'm playing it the third time after 3 years, and I think I'm not gonna marry anyone this time.

WHAT??? Why not? I always get so excited for marriage, for me it's part of the Harvest Moon experience.Googaboga wrote:Does putting marriage off for forever count?

And I usually try to marry pretty early. When I first started playing Harvest Moon, I went for one girl, wooed her, and married as soon as possible. But now I try to woo everyone (unless someone really bothers me) and it takes more time. In Cute I thought that the rivals would only get married before my marriage, so I was waiting to marry Kai until year four. Then I found out they would still marry after my marriage... but I found out at the very end of summer during my second year so I had to wait until year three to marry. Even if I marry early though, I always wait until at least the second year because I like to go through all the festivals at least once before marriage.

I just started a new slot file on my Harvest Moon DS cartridge today, and I do plan on waiting a little while before beginning to scope out and court a potential wife. Right now, money is my biggest priority. Once I have enough time (and enough Harvest Sprites) to use the casino, I'll gamble my butt off so I can spend as little money on possible on the Love Bangle. Once I get this item, though, I'll begin courting Nami.
