I was so disappointed playing that game, especially since when I was so jazzed about HM64, where the characters had distinct personalities, with good and bad traits. (Ann, why are you an abusive wife?) I don't think I can forgive them for watering down Karen either. Instead of a rebellious teen who dreamed of becoming a dancer in the city, she became "nice."

Bachelor: I actually think all of the bachelors were boring but my least favorite was Gustafa I though the would be pretty "cool" ike in A(n)WL but he was jst.. kinda borng :/ Griffin & Carter.... well ther enot bad guys but there way to old O-o

YES. They ARE so boring, aren't they! The only un-boring bachelorette is the WP! SHE ACTUALLY HAS SOME DEPTH! Shame that this is only about the normal candidates.

Sorry.... I just don't like the girly, obsessed with make-up type. Ok... She's kind, I know... But... Typical housewife kind of girl. Boring.

Normal bachelor: .... Trent? .... He's a nice, caring man, so... Good. A bit dull, but caring, which is sweet. Also, considering that the other bachelors are all at least 10 years older than the MC (not including the FoMT etc. Bachelors) he's ok.

Special Bachelor: SKYE! *faints* As Lumina once said: 'that thief is cool...' AMEN.

Normal Bachelorette: Flora. Poor Flora, working her butt off in a mine, then going back to her tent to be shouted at by Carter... What a hard life. She's kind of dreamy, and cute, because she hasn't been loved before. Plus, she's WAY smarter than the others.

I kind of feel sad that many people didn't like Carter simply JUST because he's old and avoid him like plague. Older men deserve to be loved too. Oh well, everybody have their own preference so my opinion won't matter. Personally, I think Carter is decent looking for older man, haha. He's really nice guy although he hast some bad qualities too.

My least favorite bachelorette would be Celia. She's just way too boring and nothing exciting comes from her, stale and dry. Although she had some kind of backstory in AWL, she was just too plain in HMDS.

Least favorite bachelor award goes to Skye. I didn't know what on earth was that stupid chick beam he used and I was not fond of his womanizer side (he didn't play the part well enough, haha). If he doesn't count, then it'd be Rock. I love him in AWL, but HMDSC just butchered him down.

My least favorite bachelor has to be Griffin. He's so old and every time I see him, all I can smell is musk galore. He kinda looks like a dead sunburned raccoon that's been lying out for days.

My least favorite bachelorette. That was harder to choose, because I don't actually hate any of them. I chose Nami though, simply because I don't enjoy how she looks when she's just plainly talking to you. However, I absolutely love her sprite and the way she looks when she's happy.

I forgot to say my least favorite bachelorette, and I'd have to say Lumina or Celia. I actually liked Nami, she was a such a change from previous Harvest Moon games. An anti-social thoughtful girl, I really ended up liking her. But she doesn't do anything with her life, she's a wanderer .... so she isn't my favorite compared to Bachelorettes from the other games. I don't know what she saw in Gustafa, maybe they're both philosophical?

The only way to keep the characters interesting is to make crazy « Mr.Gourmet's hat » stories for em or dig into their back stories from AWL. Actually playing HMDS and interacting with them...
