I too am curious about the wine. The gold lumber I can understand, as gold lumber is something to spend the millions and millions of G on.

She's just gonna "marry you", « Baaaa *glomp* » knows you completed your shipping list and all that jazz, so you gotta be loaded in the money department. So after you're married she just heads back to her pond and pretends like nothing happened!
No wonder she gave you a « Puppy Doodoo » load of wine, she wants you to drink away all your sorrows and probably kill your liver so you die off faster!
Next she's going to show up with some baby that's not yours and make you raise it!

Is it wine or grape juice?

I always bought many juices when I was mining. It gives you back some strength (and when I remember correctly, it is the cheapest item for giving back strength that can be bought).

When you fall down in the mine you lose strength at first. The more floors you fall down the more you lose. But you can't lose more strength than you have (as long as you have at least 1 STR-point; if you have 0 STR-Points then you lose fatigue).
Example:
Let's say you still have 30 STR-points. You fall into a hole and fall down many floors - you lose (for example) 20 STR-points.
Now let's say you had 2 STR-points before you fell into this hole. You should lose 20 STR-points but you only have 2 STR-points. So you only lose 2 STR-points.

Because of this I always drank a grape juice when I had 0 STR-points and wanted to fall down.

Actually it is grape juice, I used it in the mines. I used a lot of action replay codes to make it easier, so I did not reaaaally save all the 101 sprites and stuff. But I didn't find codes that helped me to give her the 500 gifts (1 per day) and the hidden itens from the caves, so these were the worst parts. Don't mind the names, at first I made that file just to test if Witch Princess would recognize the 50 dead animals and activate the purple heart event (and it worked), but after knowing about the action replay codes it inspired me to try to marry the HG. I found some action replay codes to make the girls with full affection, but when I tested it on Flora, she got the red heart and the next day she was vanished from my game and never came back! Poor Carter is all alone in the digging site and will remain single lol.

that explains why you didn't accomplish much even when you're in year 15... Cus you used an action replay ;p... I was thinking that you mightve purposely skip the days or something lol!

Aw, yeah, the Harvest Goddess isn't worth marrying. Just for bragging rights. Though, imagine if she actually lived with you and cooked you lunch.

Nobody gets cooking expertice under a lake. Unless she had a stove under there... But then she would die. Anyway... She would probably enslave the Harvest Sprites to do everything.

HG doesn't even say anything romantic or acknowlege you as her husband in any way after marriage whatsoever. I don't know who's more romantic, her or Kappa in FoMT. I think Kappa is the most romantic bachelor in all of HM, I mean, he says he'll marry you and disappears in a flash along with all of your great hard-work earned cucumbers, how mysterious! *swoons*. XD

Ohhh this confirms that the HG is so not worth it! XD You work sp hard to marry her and she doesn't even give you a romantic comment every time you see her? "I'll come home sometimes" - "Sometimes? You never come home!" What a « Baaaa *glomp* ». At least you know WP is worth the time and effort you have to throw in to marry her, regardless of whether you like her or not. She stays in the house.
