Ushi No Tane - Harvest Moon

There's currently a giant potato growing on my Spring Island and I wanted to know if these giant crops are used for anything.

I think there are a few recipes that call for a giant crop like a giant turnip or pumpkin but aside from that not really. Give a giant fruit and Lily will make a comment about how rare they are(not sure if it boost her FP more than regular fruit though).

Oh you can sell them for more money than a normal crop so if you stack them in your storage and save them for a day when crops sell for more you can make a pretty penny(plus haggle helps)!

I was just going to post something about this. Are the Giant Crops supposed to give more FP? Every character comments on them that they are rare or excited to receive it. I was wondering if giving Giant Crops to the more harder to please characters like Sierra, Pandora, and Beatrix, would result in being able to get FP faster.

Pandora is a pain to please if you don't got anything valuable(Gold, silver, gems, crystals, etc). But Beatrix is super easy to please. Just give her just about any dish and she is happy. Sierra is kind of easy to please once you know how to make accessories well or know how to make money in the game pretty well. Give her Magical Earrings(You can buy them at Gemini General Store if you don't got the stuff required to make them) and she's happy and I think some sweets work for her too.

I wish I knew if it's a big boost to their FP or not but you probably are better off just giving them something they love and selling/crafting with Giant Crops imo.
