IOH. 10x better! Wonderful stones are a breeze to earn, you can choose whatever color you want!
SI's stupid wedding attire and daily lunch from your spouse is only fun after doing it dozen times. Then it's boring again. I also feel claustraphobic surrounded by so much ocean water in SI. I miss the mountaints and the forest in IOH, there was so much space to run (and your horse could join you!).

i like them both. i personaly found it easier to unlock the characters and woo your potential spouse in IoH, but i did like Will and Lily as characters and the ability to get married in formal clothes in SI. I liked how big the Island was in IoH and but didn't like how you had to shell out hundereds of thousands of gold to build bridges to explore the island. in SI, i thought befriending residents and going on 'treasure hunts' to find the sunstones to raise the Islands was fun! the contests, for me, were a bit harder in SI, but i also liked the Heart Events etter in SI as well. I also liked how the rival heart events didn't start triggering until your second year, which gave me plenty of time to steal a bachelor's heart away before another girl could. So yeah, both games have good and bad qualities, but i still equaly like them.

Of the two of them, I only have Island of Happiness, so I can't really say... =) But IoH is a really great and challenging game. I've wanted Sunshine Islands for a while now. I'm hoping that I'll be able to get hold of it soon.

PeachyKeen wrote: Maybe it's just me, but I never notice the Sun Points system :'D It's the same with me, except that I just have Island of Happiness. =) I never even knew that your crops needed to have a certain amount of sunlight and water, or else they'd die. I guess it's because my crops never seemed to "die for no reason" - they always seemed to produce well if I simply watered them every day, excluding rainy days.
