And the topic was more than 10 days old, but I wanted to clear some things up.

A bell would make having your barn animals outside a lot easier. Also, your chickens do NOT need grass to be put outside and be okay. I've made the mistake of putting them in grass areas before.

Yeah, chickens just graze without grass.
I don't use the bell, though; I just push my animals out.

It's good that you didn't bump an old topic however it is kinda hard to tell what you are responding to. Maybe you should put a link to that original topic.

Although if it was really old then the person most likely doesn't need answers anymore.
