I second the thought on not marrying ariella.
I was talking to Chris Fritz over MSN and he translated part of the wiki for me.
Google always translated it as 'UWASA unable to marry'
Chris Fritz confirmed it to me as being 'Rumour unable to marry'
So i believe she is not marryable and she may say something during one of her heart events.

I'm hardly playing any more but on my mark file i plan to woo her and test this for myself.

The only thing is that on the marriage condition page it mentions Ariella has special conditions. So perhaps she can be married but you do it differently which is why she has no gown.

I've made a few experiements and managed to marry girls when playing as Chelsea. so i could also marry guy's when playing as Mark
they dont say anything at the wedding due to a bug but its funny
they do act normal after the wedding

if anyone wants pix from a girl/girl or Guy/Guy ( yeah, possible too ) wedding just ask
it will take probaly a few hours but i could make screenshots of every Chelsea/girl and Mark/Guy paring

ofcourse, this is NOT possible without actual knowledge of how to manipulate code addresses and further modifying Hardcoded Values

About the ongoing Ariella controversy (I just really really don't think she can be married, haha) -- does someone want to toss me a link to the Japanese wiki? I can just read through and see if I can find anything definitive. :\

lol.. suprised at my haxx stamina but ignores the fact that i married suiren when playing as chelsea
my stamina is arround a value thats so high, the Bar would probaly go through the screen over 9000 times if that was possible
i can work through years without every running out of stamina

It says right next to the "special conditions" thing that it's currently being investigated -- but I'm really convinced by our little hardcoder here that she's not marriagable.

Yeah, and on the heart event page, it says "There is a rumour that you can't marry her." :\ But, all of her heart events require the Goddess to also be at a certain heart level. I wonder what's up with that...? Could be the key.

Actually, I have sort of a theory, if anyone wants to test this. What if you blue feather the Goddess when you have both her and Ariella at 10 hearts? :\ It could be sort of like asking permission? I'm going wayyyyy out on a limb here. I think the coding is more likely to be correct, but.

i could just try this with setting the affection to the absolute max and just giving her gifts and giving myself 99 blue feathers

but i even tried throwing the feather into the pond and there was no significant change in the addresses

i've did a memory dump of both before throwing the feather and after and two of before trying to give arielle the feather and after trying

either they pretty much really « Snuggly Bunny » up the game and its a terrible glitch with a missing address / image or she is just a fun candidate to make it more realistic

but i REALLY doubt it

as for the witch and shiba, since the church is a GENERAL marriage requirment, its natural to assume theyr ALL getting married in the church, thus, wedding dress

okay, i did. but there's still something i want someone who has the game to test to see if you can marry ariella, someone, give the feather to roven..........*someone shoots me* i mean, ariella's parents have past on and roven IS looking after ariella.

edit: or, isn't there a confession like in FoMT in this game? maybe there's an option saying "I want to marry Ariella". note: i've given up on her and ready to accept she's not available, i just like to see if there's any other way someone hasn't tried yet.

edit (again): or since she's so devoted to the goddess she can be only married during the goddess festival, unlike the others when they can be married at any time
