What browser do you use? Are cookies enabled? Are you behind a firewall? Who's that behind you? Raagh! Do you have any anti-spyware or anti-adware software installed that might be blocking cookies?

I am mrpotatohead, I use Google Chrome and all antivirus, etc. is on but it hasn't ever caused a problem until now.

Then it's probably either your firewall, anti-* software, or router. Double check the settings and logs for the firewall and anti software, and clear your router's cache (if applicable).
