Yes, you choose one village or the other, and I THINK eventually perhaps your mission is to bring those villages together.

Wow the buildings in the English town are really pretty. That's the animal one, right? Looks like the one I'm going to pick <3
Do you guys think you'll be able to marry people from the other town? I would hate to have all the good bachelors in the town I didn't want to live in. I wonder how far apart the towns are too... The portable HMs tend to have relatively small maps, so it's not likely it'll be a long trek right?
