Let's say I'm trying to activate a certain heart event. And the guy asks me on a date but the location of the heart event isn't one of the options. If I were to reload my game from the last saved point, would the options vary?

Yes, they would change. The options will also be different depending on where you ask them. Like if you asked them inside their house and then again outside, they would change. I recommend not reloading your game too much though since it can freeze the shop inventories.

Ahhh, so that's why shop inventory tends to only change when I don't want it to! I'll have to keep that in mind from now on.

Yeah if the inventory does freeze though, all you need to do is buy something from their shops and ship it and it should be fine the next day.

I think it's safe to reload like 2 times, if you don't get your location after that I would just wait for another day to trigger it. In my opinion wooing the normal bachelors and seeing their heart events/pushing them to red heart can be done rather quickly in this game anyway.
