So I'm in year 3 and I have kind of gotten bored with a lot of things, and I'm just waiting on the farm expansions and for my crops to grow. Lately, I've been turning on a movie or show and just fishing all the while watching the movie.

I was just wondering what is a typical day for others, so maybe I will attempt to do new things, and what is your current long term goal. (Mine is to catch all the fish and bugs)

I made it to Summer year 5 and quit. I got bored because that reason.

The Goals I had-
-upgrade both farms
-grow my child to kid stage
-unlock all recipies
-get everyone to full bloom.

I got none of the goals finished at the time, but I may pick it up again later.

Current Goals (which keeps me going, but I'm getting bored now)
- Upgrade both farms
- Hopefully, move back to my hometown which is Konohana :lala:
- Raise Mikhail's child
- After, the child is fully grown, I'll start lowering Mikhail's heart levels to see what happens after that
Then I can end the game and finish with my Boy file, hoping to marry Alisa or Laney.

Oh gosh, I'm only halfway through spring of Year 2, although I've had the game since it came out... mostly beacuse of school work taking up all my time
Anyway, it really annoys me how this game drags out the gameplay. I usually only play about 2 in-game years, because that's all that keeps my interest and thats as long as it takes to beat the game, but for ToTT its going to take like 9 years to beat the game!!! And don't even get me started on how you can only updat your farms/stuff/etc. at the beginning of each month so once you finish the requests the subsequent days of the month devolve into dull monotony.
Haha okay, I'll stop ranting.

Typical Day:
I'm currently in Bluebell while finishing the tunnel expansions so I can have a lot of livestock and stuff.
I wake up, play with my pets, water my bluebell crops, take honey, brush and care for my animals, go around the town and check the requests. Forage up the Bluebell side of the mountain and then fly down to Konohana. Water Konohana crops, talk to everyone, check requests, forage up the Konohana side of the mountain and fish, then go to bed. Totally boring until I get more upgrades haha.

Goals:
-complete tunnel (one more season!!!!)
-complete Konohana farm first
-get all crops up to 5 stars
-move to bluebell so I can have more animals and complete bluebell farm
-get married
-complete mine, hot spring, etc.

....but I doubt I'll last that long :?

I'm still in Winter Year 1 on my second file...

I live in Bluebell currently, but I've got Konohana's farm planted full of crops so I sleep over in the Konohana Town Hall every night.

This is probably more detail than you want, but...

Daily routine (normal, sunny/snowy day)
1) wake up in Kono Town Hall
2) talk to Ina, Rahi, and Mikhail (he's living in Kono)
3) check the message board for any doable requests and accept them if there are any
4) run to my Kono farm and water/harvest/replant everything as needed
5) talk to Sheng at his home
6) talk to Dirk at home (if it's his day off so he's there, otherwise I catch him in step 8 below)
7) talk to Kana at home (usually in the barn at this point)
8 ) reenter town and talk to everybody and fulfill requests if I can, going around counter-clockwise (clinic, Raul's, Yun's, Mako's, Gombe's). buy stuff at Raul's along the way if he's got anything good - nobody else is probably open yet.
9) exit town, check the unfinished tunnel for ore stones, etc.
10) drop off sellable stuff that I don't need for requests or cooking in the shipping bin
11) climb the mountain up to the summit, foraging every single thing along the way (I leave weeds and lower-star rocks and branches behind, take everything else including hand-fish if it's not winter, bugs, talk to wild animals, etc)
12) at the summit, give an offering to the HG, then take the owl down to Bluebell.
13) go to Bluebell farm, take care of animals and pets (talk to, feed treats, brush if necessary, and pick up eggs/milk/wool.)
14) check pet food bowl in house and fill if needed, check radio for tomorrow's weather, drop off stuff into my cart that I don't want to sell or carry.
15) leave farm and enter Bluebell. Visit everybody and fulfill requests going around clockwise (Jessica's shop, Ash in the pasture, Diego's, Eileen, check message board, Town Hall, Cam's, Howard's, Grady's)
16) exit town and visit Nathan in the church, and check the unfinished tunnel for ore stone, etc
17) toss sellable stuff in the shipping bin
18 ) climb the mountain, foraging everything again.
19) at the summit, take the owl down to Konohana.
20) visit Kono shops if they're still open and I need anything, fulfill requests as I'm able, give the crops on Kono farm their second watering.
21) go back up the mountain to my fave fishing dock for the season and fish until exhausted or inventory is full or time hits 3am
22) use up leftover stamina by jumping in the water, but don't risk fainting
23) go back down the mountain to Kono, checking for the panda if I have time, dump the fish and any other sellables in the bin, then go to Town Hall to save and sleep.

Next day: repeat. ^_^ There are minor variations based on weather, festivals, dating bachelors, time-sensitive requests or bug-catching, and if I really need to hit a shop, but that's the standard right now.

Whenever I get bored my goal is to do all requests.

But aside from doing requests, these are my goals:
- Catching all fish
- Catching all critters
- Getting married
- Becoming rich

And this is a typical day on my life:
- Wake up
- Feed animals
- Collect milk and eggs
- Talk with friends
- Give gifts to friends
- Give gifts to future husband/wife
- Talk with future husband/wife
- Make new friends
- If there's time left, give gifts to as many people as possible.

For me, I just take care of my farm and go to bed. I don't bother double watering. It takes too long.

I always play HM games with getting "everything" in mind - so I play to maximize my efforts.

Year 5 Winter now. Living in Bluebell, preggie (so stuck there for a while), just about to hit 20 million. 11 animals, 6 chickens. Konohana needs one more field expansion and the rest of the rice paddies. Bluebell needs a pasture expansion and the other 5 beehives. Was moving back and forth to always get an animal to win a contest (except pets and alpacas)

Goals are getting the mine open to max my tools, see the kid grown up, get all crops at 5-star and having all the high-end items on hand that S level requests want (8 cured mixed veggies? Really??). This is being hampered by the damn storage space shortage. This annoyance may be the thing that makes me quit when I find something else to shove in my 3DS or next HM handheld or Mists of Pandaria, whichever comes first.

I can see playing for a few more months though, I WILL get all these things done!!

Oh my routine: Take care of all animals (most are giving 5 products), put wool type into maker, run to Konohana and blast-water all. That's about noon. Pick ripe things, make seeds if regrowable. Check on fish nursery. Dump things in shipping bin. Check Konohana requests, check if Gombe has fertilizer (always keep 99 - actually ran out last month). Run to Bluebell, buy treats, check board, buy flour (rice in Konohana) for my stamina restoration food supply. Run over mountain, forage some, say hi to Harvest Goddess, fish somewhere until midnite, check on panda, go back to Konohana for 2nd watering. Ship everything not being saved. Go back to Bluebell to sleep or crash at the Konohana Inn if I won't make it back in time. Busy busy busy!

I'm currently in year 13. My main goal now is saving for the Oracles cart requests and the second house. I don't have the money yet for them because I'm kinda lazy about making money. My typical day runs this way--wake up, talk to husband Cam and the kid, water if anythings planted, talk to/brush/harvest/feed barn animals, harvest trees and ripe crops, check my towns board, head thru the tunnel and check other towns board, go thru the mine, ship what I have, forage over the mountain, ship again, feed the cats and dogs, water again if needed, then bed.

I got the game the day it was released in September. It took me this long to get that far because I work 40-50 hours a week. Otherwse I'd probably be a lot further year-wise.

I'm in Summer of year 3 and while I occasionally get bored with a specific day or several days, for the most part I'm busy enough that it isn't a problem. I do a lot of the same things Blue Trillium does - I live in Bluebell and just got my alpacas, so I'm working on getting their heart levels and production levels up. I'm also working on getting all of the crops to 5 stars now that I have the seed maker, which requires a lot of time over on the Konohana farm.

Most days I sleep at Konohana town hall, go check the board (I'm pretty selective about taking on requests), run up to the farm and water/harvest/toss things in the seed maker as needed, then zip through the tunnel to my Bluebell farm, where I usually arrive around 8-10am depending on how long the crops took. I take care of the animals, gather up all the items, and check the radio and the pets' food dish, then go check out the Bluebell request board, Diego's shop, and Howard's cafe. I usually talk to everyone or almost everyone, then I head up through the mountain (stopping to say hi to the Oracle most days), and forage, especially at the spots where ore stones tend to pop up. I also say hi to as many of the wild animals as possible, and once I get back down to Konohana, I start making the rounds there.

By the time all of that's done, anything in the seed maker is usually ready so I go plant the new seeds, or alternatively, I go fishing or visiting until it's time for the second round of watering and I finish up by shipping whatever I have left, and then sleeping and saving at Konohana's town hall.

My long term goals are increasing the heart/productivity levels of my new alpacas, getting 5-star crops, and learning the cooking recipes. I'll probably get married at some point but I always seem to lose interest as soon as that happens, so I'm putting it off for now.

My typical days are short I go to bed really early XD. I'm in Fall of year 2. I completed the plot so the main things I want to do is wait for farm upgrades and woo Oracle and Alisa (the other bachelorettes are already done). I guess I could befriend other villagers but I've gotten really lazy.

So give a few gifts, take care of animals, forage stuff, check request boards. That's pretty much all I do. I don't think I'm gonna play anymore. I'm not motivated to get further in this file. I might play long enough to finish wooing Oracle since she is one of my favorites but maybe not >.>.

I got bored with my male character(Logan<3) so I made a girl character and this is my routine:

Wake up, Check Radio/Calender
Water Soybeans (Right now they're my only plant, and they've got the pink blooms)
Refill watering can for tomorrow.
Talk to each of my animals (1 cow, 1 sheep, 1 chicken)
Brush Cow&Sheep
Pick up egg, Milk cow, Shear Sheep(If needed)
(Sunny all day)-Throw chicken outside, Push cow&Sheep out
(Rainy/Stormy Even half)-Put out feed.
Use Milk to make Hot Milk For Ash
Get on the horse and attach the cart (Still the original one, I'm so lazy.)
Ride to town(Konohana) Check the message board.
Talk to Hiro  and Ayame, Give them each a gift. (Hiro's is usually a moondrop flower)
Check Raul's(?) Shop.
If there's rice, I buy almost all I can with my money (Saving about 2,000G)
If I bought rice, I go home and cook it all into Cooked rice, Then Rice Porridge. (Last time I Did this, I had 3 bundles of 99 and one of 55)
Sell The porridge. (Bought for 180, sold for 230[or something close to])
Go up the mountain, foraging all the way (Unless it's a date day and I'm on a schedual, then I'll go until I have to book-it.)
Check the other Message board
Talk to  Ash (Give Hot Milk)
Talk to Cam  (Give a flower)
Go inside of Jessica's, buy any needed treats (For animal productivity)
Give Eileen a branch/stone.
Go back home, Foraging more(If needed, and fishing in the hand-fishing spots, catching bugs, too.)
When foraging, I only keep stones and Branches of 1.5 stars.
In Konohana, I put all branches and stones (And ores if found) in my cart.
I sell anything not in a request.
I do the requests by which town I'm in, fitting into my routine.
If i cross anyone, I speak with them. (Mako, Jessica, Cheryl, the triplets, Dirk  , Georgia, Laney and Howard are the commonly spoken to ones.)

Flour is another great one to buy a lot of. Make bread and then toast with it to have a good profit. Also Steamed mushrooms, but only make it with one mushroom at a time.
