Snowballs

I found a snowball while foraging .. What can I do with it?? :?:

Well if you collect 10 or them and then 10 Elli Leaves, then you have all the requirements for a request the Oracle gives which will get you a snowboard.

I think you can also throw them, and sometimes there will be things inside of them.

Yup,you can throw them and find all kinds of stuff inside them.

You can also sometimes find ore stones in them.

And, for some extremely bizarre reason, you can also find curry dumplings in the snowballs.

For an even weirder reason, you can find another snowball inside a snowball .__.;

I found 2 snowballs inside 1 I picked up and eventually after throwing them all nothing was inside the last one!

Yep, when you toss a snowball, here are the things you can get (off the top of my head, the list is probably not complete):

1) nothing
2) another snowball (which you can throw again)
3) any wild flower (moondrop, blue magic, red magic)
4) curry dumpling
5) old ball (good if you're collecting items for the master rod quest in Winter)
6) ore stone
7) I think you might also find just regular gray rocks inside...

If you're storing up snowballs for the snowboard request, you can keep them forever - they never melt or go rotten.

I can confirm that yes, rocks pop out. Also, weeds. I don't think I've ever seen a branch though.

That really made me laugh. It's almost like a matryoska (I have no idea if I spelled it right) snowball, too bad the last one had nothing.
