No, no it's not like that at all.

I mean, there's a limit to the level of interaction with your boyfriend/girlfriend or spouse, of course (it's a farm life simulation not a lover simulation), but it's got way more relationship stuff than any other handheld game... comparing it to console releases AWL obviously beats it when it comes to raising a family, and AP has the features like 2 kids, spouse resemblance, and a greater variety of chores your spouse can do (in this game they can only forage stuff for you)... but the boyfriend/girlfriend stage is very nice.

Instead of the sudden jump from "I feel strangely happy when I see you *blush*" to marriage, whoever you're going steady with will acknowledge that you're an item, treat you like an SO. It's a separate stage from friends and you can only "unlock" it with one character, unless you dump them (and they will remember if you do that :p).

You can also have meals with your spouse where you can cook something (their reaction depends on what you make) or they'll make something for you. That's not an "OH WOW" feature to me, I haven't gotten married yet in my file so I can't really say much about it, but it sounds cute.





But yeah anyone looking to substitute HM for a real lover or even a proper romance game should prolly look elsewhere. While it's an improvement over past titles, and even if you play with the 3D feature turned up to the max, don't expect the bachelor/ette of your choice to pop out of the screen and say "hey baby " hahaha

My brother might get the purple, that's why I didn't get it. I wouldn't want to have the same color 3DS as my family members cause then it's "Is this one mine or yours?" etc.

Be careful playing without screen protecters especially if you are like me and like rhythm games like Elite Beat Agents or Ouendan! I went a through a DS playing on harder difficulty levels lol.

True but if it's like the ToTT petting minigame on the 3DS and you got to do a lot of rubbing/petting to get more friendship points with your animal you might want a protector. Does HM: ANB have petting minigames or minigames that requires the touch screen?

Does anyone think they'll have ANB playable at E3? I doubt it, but it would be pretty awesome, that would mean they're making fast progress xD

I agree with you, I'd rather have it come out later with no typos, then to have it come out early with them.
but then again there has never been an HM game where Natsume didn't have 1 typo. =P

As long as there's not a typo in like... every other chat window, I'm okay with a few mishaps. The typos always make me giggle anyhow!
