I bought the game on Play Asia, and the 3DS I was able to snag on a lucky deal from eBay. I wouldn't count on it happening again; I just happened to time it well with someone wanting to get rid of theirs. I really lucked out with the guy selling being in the USA; it takes FOREVER to get through customs sometimes. Nurse Fin, didn't that happen to you?

On the 3DS, there is an online shop you can buy games from. Perhaps you could download the Harvest Moon game onto your 3DS for a cheaper price then having to ship it overseas.

I didn't do that because I've never downloaded a game before and am afraid of losing it if my 3DS breaks. Some people really like having a cartridge, game box and so on as well.

I haven't bought anything from the online shop, so I don't know if it accepts a foreign currency or if you would have to have a Japanese bank account.

I see other sell like $100 and they sell New Bokujo Monogatari Hajimari no Daichi Official Complete Guide Book Japan over $100. my « Harvest Goddess » they crazy. in play-asia official guide book only $29.

My brother said that if you're shipping to CA, there's never really a problem with customs, so playasia is your best bet arm price wise and shipping wise. I think the price for the game actually went down a few bucks in the past few weeks (not much, but hey we all probably need to save as much moolahs as possible) at playasia...

It's only because /specifically/ on eBay, there aren't many people selling that specific game. Thus, they can price it however they want. Just ignore it and buy from play-asia.
