Has anyone ordered the HM artbook? EDIT: WOOO PICTURES

It seems that none of my local Japanese bookstores take orders, so I'll have to order from either Amazon. jp or Play-Asia.

Does anyone have any experience ordering the artbook (particularly if you live in the US like me)? How fast was shipping and delivery?

Looks like they have it in stock in New York (if I had the money I'd snatch it up). Shipping would be cheaper/faster than Play-Asia.

ive asked for the artbook for my birthday but its not until mid july and i told my husband to get it from amazon.jp, if he decides to get it for me. id expect it to take at least 2 weeks. im interested to see also how long it took from those who ordered it.

Oh! the rune factory artbook took about 2 weeks to come to the US for me. i think it was ordered from playasia if i remember correctly.

It's the only US-based online store that I know of. It's possible but unlikely that it is stocked locally at Japanese bookstores since it is a niche product.

Amazon.co.jp and Play-Asia are the other big options but yeah, overseas shipping for printed material is either 1) very expensive or 2) very slow

Ah, thanks, Nurse Fin. I just ordered from Kinokuniya now.

With shipping and tax (since I live in CA), it comes out to about $64. A little over $10 cheaper than Play-Asia and Amazon.

If you have a local Kinokuniya they may be able to special order it. I stopped off at mine yesterday and had them order it for me.

I would like to see the pictures. I hope they are beautiful. I hope they have drawn some pictures of Leia, Alisa and non-marriageable characters.

it's absolutely full of pictures and it really does cover every game from the snes to a new beginning. there isn't too much text in this book, but there are some character descriptions and a few pages heavy with text. I'd say 90 % of the book is pictures though.

I personally love it, but my brother said it was a waste of money considering he could just google the same pictures any day. There are a few new pictures but a lot of it is really simply the official art. I'm a collector so these kinds of things are totally worth it for me.

they have pictures of all the characters, not just the marriageable ones. there's also pictures of animals and vegetables and such. It's interesting seeing how things have changed over the years!
