You're forgetting this is Natsume we're dealing with.
Their release dates are more like ballparks.

Feel free to post where you saw Natsume release "We promise to have this game out in 2012." I seroiusly doubt you'll find it, as no such thing exists.

The current plan is to have the game out this year, but it is not guaranteed. Anything is possible.

Like I said before, I've learned to never trust gaming companies. They're good at 2 things: developing games and empty promises. :lala:

This attitude perplexes me. Companies can either give no date (which makes people angry), give an approximate date (which makes people angry) or give something and then, guess what, people get angry when it doesn't meet that goal because that's how « Cow Poopoo » happens sometimes.

What DO you want companies to do? What reasonable expectation can be had?

When they give approximated dates, that's OK by me, because they haven't told us when it will come out. However, it's when they place a real date down and then push it back a month that makes me skeptical.

However, I'd rather wait and have no glitches than have a glitchy game card.

I don't recall Natsume ever making a promise for the game to be out this year. In fact, I think it's remarkable that they are even working on it so early. They have definitely improved over the years.

I do however remember them stating on their Facebook that no release date is final until they say so themselves, so any release date you see on a website (ie. GameStop) is not correct until officially confirmed by Natsume.

There are no dates anywhere, except for placeholders...

I expect there will be at least one or two glitches, this IS Natsume we are talking about, but I am hoping that it won't be bad!

I'm still quite surprised by the glitches Natsume manages to get in.. Seeing as they're supposed to only change the text and maybe a few images (logo's from shops and stuff).
Though it might be that they sometimes use the wrong version of the game to translate. From what I've heard they used the glitched version of the Japanese HM:DS to translate, while there was a newer non-glitched version already out in Japan. Or maybe that came out after they already started working on it, but I'm not sure. I'm still angry with them for taking out the Best Friend system in DS Cute.
