We have no idea. XSEED has not said whether or not we are getting the updates on the release or if they are going to patch them in.Anonymous Fish wrote:Will the localization feature Inari's kid automatically in it or do you still need to update? Tbqh, I preferred not having a kid with Inari. It's interesting.
Just gonna add...Arcy wrote:We have no idea. Spoiler:
I seem to misunderstand what people say on this forum way too often. When I read that, I wondered why the heck XSEED would consider Ludus, the most visibly muscular of all the bachelors, to be the waif of the game. (I would have called Yuzuki the 'waif' but I heard he's actually really strong because of metal-smithing or something?)GemiMini wrote:I lol'ed @ Ludus being the localization staff's waif though.
Yeah that was a typo. Whoops! Sorry for confusing you!Kikki wrote:Regrets to everyone who wanted Hamtaro. Looks like XSEED did their best.

I had to go to the post itself and see a U stuck on the end to get it. -___-
Does that mean that Ludus was the team's collective favourite? I wonder why...
They haven't said. I'll be pissed if it is region locked again after the SoS deadness and the fact that the MP in 3oT specifically seems geared to avoid "rudeness" (which can sometimes just be cultural differences).Anonymous Fish wrote:Any posts yet on if the multiplayer is region locked or not? That's something about the last game that really ticked me off.
I just hope all the dlc japan has out will be available on the cart or at launch in the store
I don't mind; it was my own fault anyway (it was obvious after I saw the 'u' what you meant, I should have got it right off.) and it was funny, wondering why on earth XSEED would consider Ludus to be a waif. I was wondering if maybe he's really delicate, in-game, or something...like having super sensitive feelings or something, lol. ("I can't...*hic*...believe...*sob*...you don't like the birdhouse I made for you!"...*dissolves into an all-out crying fit* Yep, I was picturing something like that.)GemiMini wrote:Yeah that was a typo. Ludus seems pretty popular though. I think he as a character has a pretty wide appeal, with his design and the fact that he seems like a nice guy, though I haven't experienced what his personality is like in person.
It looks the same to me, but I haven't been paying very close attention. I still think it looks very ugly...harsh. But I'm pretty sure I'll just get used to it as I play. I hope so, anyway.Pachi wrote: Is it just me or the font spacing looks better now? Still not a fan of the actual font though, but it being readable is good enough.
I heard that Japanese players didn't like foreigners on MP because they came, gave only fodder or twigs or etc, then left without tending any animals or crops. (Basically just swooping in to snag whatever gift was up for offer.) NO idea if that's true, though, as I never played MP (except with myself, lol, and I was always a good guest to me.) If it's true, that IS really bad manners, and I can't blame them for not wanting that. I heard the same thing, probably from the same person (minus the crops bit, ANB only had animals). But that's not what I'm talking about when I say "cultural differences", for the record. NA players tend to talk less, for one. Or might idle/sightsee for longer. The only equitable experience I have is on Animal Crossing's Island tour (And being a FFXI veteran,I guess? ) and you can sometimes tell the country of origin just by how a character behaves (without talking).Kikki wrote:I heard that Japanese players didn't like foreigners on MP because they came, gave only fodder or twigs or etc, then left without tending any animals or crops.
