I will never get tired about this babyAnna_Lynn wrote:Is it because I stopped posting dialogue? (I bet it's because I stopped posting dialogue ). I'm sure by now people are really tired of reading dialogue from Hinata, so I stopped uploading stuff. Doesn't help that he's the underdog bachelor. Also, in my opinion, it wasn't fair to the other more popular candidates to have very few dialogue, and suddenly this one "lackluster" dude has 500+ screenshots of events.The Ninja wrote:Dang, the amount of activity in this thread has dropped off lately ;-;
I like how tsundere Iluka's dialogue is! Usually the only tsundere people we get are bachelors, but it's nice that they've made a bachelorette be tsundere this time around.

Sorry for not posting lately! How about an extra long post to make up for it?
---
Starting off, here are the Lulukoko villagers' dialogue when you speak to them after marrying Iluka. As per usual, most of these lines also apply to marrying Siluka, so I'll bold and underline the ones that are exclusive to marrying Iluka specifically.

I'm disappointed that only one character has exclusive dialogue if you marry Iluka. I don't even feel like making any snarky comments this time. Blah.

Iluka's pink/red dialogue when married for 0-2 months:

Oh, good. That's where my snarky comments went.

That dialogue for Expert was pretty good, not gonna lie.

And now for some misc. Iluka marriage lines.
Iluka's sleeping line (Behold, the one time she almost acknowledges she's a tsundere!):
Talking to her when there's a typhoon/hurricane/snowstorm/earthquake happening:
Getting Iluka into a good mood:
Speaking to Iluka when she's in a bad mood (I know it wasn't intentional but this line honestly rubs me the wrong way):

And now for all her mealtime conversations when married:
I'll post the spousal event next time.

So much Iluka dialogue. So much snark. Did you decide to do her dialogue just to snark
"living together with new people" Iluka why do you say that so late
Expert loss is pretty good.
Siluka requiring specific directional cuts for the vegetables is pretty cute. Iluka learning to cook during the MC marriage development is also pretty cute.
It's kind of a strange balance to me as someone who generally gags at tsundere characters, some of her lines are pretty nice but others are 'ew ew why did your tsundere have to come out so much'. I'm never really sure if I'd actually want to for-entertainment marry her in a restored back-up file anymore.

I'm not sure if making requests is alright or not, and this is sorta specific but...
Does anyone have dialogue from dating Ford during the Flower Fair? And his reaction to receiving flowers from you?
I know it's kinda specific so I'm not expecting anything, but if anyone happens to have it, I'd appreciate it!
Also I think it's awesome how much dialogue and screenshots people have accumulated here. I know how long it takes to get screens through miiverse.

Those are super cute hahah. Ford really is very sweet. <3
I wanted to go ahead and get hitched to Ford but I didn't want to miss out on this dialogue and the flower fair is still more than a season away in my game, so thank you!

I've been lurking on this thread for weeks, and it has been both a blessing and curse: I loved reading all of the dialogue and found myself torn about who to go for in the game! Thank you so much to everyone who's contributed! I thought it was time that I made a few little contributions myself. I don't think anyone has posted the lines from the MC's birthday party for Wayne while dating, so here's the dialogue from that:
As a side note, one of the things I love about Wayne is that falling in love with the farmer protagonist renders him speechless or unable to fully express himself--according to Ford, he never runs out of flowery things to say to the girls who drop by the post office, and he's always up for a pleasant chat or giving compliments, and yet, when it comes to saying just how head over heels he is, he can't find the right words.
If you don't dance with Wayne at the Goddess Festival when you're dating:
If you do dance with Wayne at the Goddess Festival when you're dating:
On Wayne and Dessie:
I didn't write down exactly what Wayne said after the fireworks on New Year's when dating, but here's the gist of it:
Also, lines if you have a Maine Coon cat + about cats at the Pet Promenade:
If you cheer him up while dating:
If you have a meal with him while dating:
Apologies if any of these are repeats! I struggled for so long about which candidate I would choose, but I think it's always pretty much been Wayne--I hadn't played any of the recent HM/SOS games, but then I saw a screenshot of him and, as someone who loves learning about the American West, I was hooked and had to learn more about the game. When I finally got the game and he was so sweet and polite--gah! And then that light green flower event with its heart-to-heart moment... I was a goner, even if I didn't admit it to myself until the end of Year 1 in the game, haha!

I agree with you about his kindness towards women and I too, well, basically fell in love with him when I first saw/met him.

People are posting again, it's a miracle! :O
At first I was really liking her at first but as I got further into her dialogue, I started having second thoughts.
See, the thing is that whereas a lot of tsunderes will be cold towards someone because they don't want to admit their feelings towards them or don't know how to do so other than insult who they're in love with, I noticed that Iluka is usually straight up mean, even after marriage (like the bad mood dialogue for example). Now, I'm not saying I'm an expert on tsunderes, but that's how it comes off to me. It's rarely ever a case of Iluka being rude because she loves you and doesn't know how to express it, it's just her being rude for the sake of being rude.
That probably wasn't intentional on the writers' part, but I dunno.
---
Now for Iluka's spousal event! Surely they couldn't have messed this one up too, right?
An event where Iluka's grandma comes over? Dang, they really put in full effort into making these events as romantic as possible.
...I'll quit the snark now. Err, anyway, all quips aside, I did actually think this was a pretty good event! Callbacks to previous events are always nice (although I'm not totally sure I buy the idea that Iluka suddenly has gone from almost burning down the house to becoming a master chef in the span of two events but hey it's a video game), uh... it didn't involve another twin switch, so it's got that going for it, and... yeah.
Really, I liked the event. I just honestly cannot figure out what to say about it for the life of me. Maybe it's less that I dislike Iluka and more that I'm burnt out from posting her dialogue. Then again, I didn't have that issue with Kasumi, so idk. A combination of both perhaps?
Honestly I didn't think I'd end up being this snarky towards her ;-;Nurylon wrote:So much Iluka dialogue. So much snark. Did you decide to do her dialogue just to snark
