Okay, sooo, then, on Tuesday night, I had this dream.
Well, ANYWAYS, I believe it was either for HM2 or HM3, and I was running around the village, and farming, and stuffz, just like I've seen people do in the few HM:GBC videos I've watched.
Well, ANYWAYS, I woke up, remembered the dream, and thought, "I HAVE to get this game."
I haven't been able to get it out of my head since.
I KNOW that they are selling used GameBoy Colours at the local Hock Shop in my city's downtown area, but I don't know what the chances are of my Mom allowing me to buy the system, and even then, the chances of actually FINDING a good, still-working copy of the game.
Because, I mean, it DOES look rather fun -- I just don't know if it'd be worth it. :(
You know what they should do? They should put games for previous consoles available for buying on the DSi shop (if there IS one O.o), just like they did with the Wii Shop!!! :) I would DEFINITELY buy one of those things if they put old GBC and GBA games on the DSi, available for download. ;)
And, ANYWAYS, since the game is probably around 10 years old by now, what do you think my chances of finding a copy of HM3 for around $10 on eBay or something are? :?:

Very slim. Your chance's are finding really cheap are slim. Cheapest, maybe 15 dollars?
But from what I see their around 15-80 dollars on ebay.

It is actually a really fun game, and I was lucky my friend bought it for another friend of mine who gave it to me to 'beat' for her. I still have it and it's sitting in my Jewelry box.
But super fun none the less.

Yah, it's a cool game. I abused the farmers union shipping glitch thing, so now I'm rolling in money; which pretty much killed the game for me. If you get that game, DON'T ABUSE THAT GLITCH!!!!

You have a whole bunch of stuff, then fill the meter to ship all the way, then go over to another item and go backwards and you'll beable to ship lots of the other thing. Always leave one and repeat. You can ship an unlimited amount of stuff with only two piles of stuff. You get rich and it kills the game.

No, unfortunately. :(

I might download it in an emulator or something, though. I may actually buy the game to make it legal, but I won't ever play on the actual GAME CARD or anything.... :o

I'm still lookin', my Mom isn't agreeable on the subject yet. :( (Tee hee, so I'm gonna put it on my BIRTHDAY LIST!!!! :) Which, by the way, is in July. :( )

If I could, I would send you one of my copies of HM3 D: My sister and I both got one in Christmas of forever ago. Start of my HM game playing life that game is~ And I actually find it quite enjoyable for an older game. I haven't actually beaten it yet either -fails-

But, if you can't find a GBC, you could probably have better chances getting a GBA or an SP if you don't have one already.

Dunno about HM2, but HM3 is definitely fun, I love it. =)

If you're going to buy the game online, I'm going to STRONGLY discourage you from buying on eBay. When you buy any sort of cartridge game from eBay, there's a huuuge likelihood of it being pirated. (Mostly for GBA games, but I have a friend who encountered a couple pirated GBC ones too.) And apart from being illegal, pirated games are also irritating since they have a tendency to randomly break on you. Like save files will go corrupt out of the blue, or it won't save at all after you played for hours, or you'll start it up one day and the screen will just be a bunch of fuzzy lines....

ANYWAY. I checked on Froogle.com for HM2 and HM3 games that AREN'T from eBay and found a few sellers. Unfortunately, none of them are $10 or less, sorry. =/

>> HM3

They're all less than $25 and are from hopefully reputable sources. Good luck!
