I married cliff and i went to the winery to go visit him and he said something along the lines of
"im so glad we're married <palyer name>
lolwut. Player wasnt even spelled right ..

Hmm, that's pretty strange. I married Gray and that's never happened to me, maybe it's some sort of Cliff glitch?

it's a mistake in the coding.

when they code <playername>, it insterts your player's name. if you looked at the coding for the game, i'm sure that everything would say "<playername>" instead of, say, "claire."

the reason why you are seeing the code is because they typoed for that part of cliff's speech, and the code doesn't recognize that "<palyername>" is supposed to be your player's name, so it just shows the raw coding instead of your name.

it's a fairly well-known typo. there's one on the site in FoMT where elli calls you "<playname>," actually. it's not a glitch, just a coding error, so don't worry!

i still think the best typo in the M/FoMT games is "sopha." i have to laugh every time i see it.

yeah, if you inspect the couches in the clinic in FoMT, it labels them as "sopha" instead of "sofa."

i find it particularly funny because you would expect an error to be the other way around, using an "f" instead of a "ph," you wouldn't expect the more complex option to be used by mistake where it doesn't belong!

Hey, that happened to me as well! Also, one time I was talking to Ann and she kept calling me a boy.
