Fwee~ I love Calvin, so I think that it's worth sending my copy in, but I wonder how much the shipping and handling will cost to actually send it.

OwO Fifty dollars? I don't get paid until the end of the month and I just blew my last paycheck at Abercrombie.

I'm less worried about the post office losing than I am about Natsume losing it. At least with the post office I can get insurance. If Natsume decides not to mail my copy back for some reason or another I am out of a game and 50 bucks :shifty:

I think they got confused because the person below them said they were out "a game and $50," meaning the $50 they paid for the game, but Nasu thought they meant $50 shipping.

(Anyone in the US, shipping priority flat rate will be a neat $5.)

Calvin was rendered unmarragable in the original run of the game. During his request event, you'd have to go down to the tenth floor of the mine, where he would ask you to bring him an apple. As soon as he'd turn to talk to you, the whole Wii would lock up, forcing a hard reset to continue playing.

Getting Calvin up to that point meant you couldn't go far in the mine until you married him off to Phoebe or got married yourself. Natsume fixed the problem, and are offering us to trade our games in for one's lacking this glitch.

Basically, if you weren't planning on marrying Calvin, you wouldn't have had seen it, and won't need to trade it in.

I sent in 2 games this morning. I purchased a padded envelope for each of them. I dedcided to send them in seperate pacakges. Then I sent them both priority mail, with insurance and delivery confirmation. I included the boxes, games, manuals and registration cards. It cost me a little over 17 dollars to send them both in. I just sent them today, so it will be a little while before I get them back.

I'll post again when I get them back.

:/ I suppose it's good that Natsume fixed the glitch... But they're charging an extra fifty bucks for a fixed version of a mistake they made?... Meh, not worth my money. That, and shipping and handling from Canada would be too costly. O:

The game is being replaced for free. You just have to pay shipping to get it to them. They pay the shipping on the return.

So, you're getting a replacement game for the cost of shipping. That's still not fair, since it was a defective game in the first place. I think they should also refund the shipping, but I'll settle for the games being replaced.

Yes, you can get a fixed disc for free, excluding shipping.

"In theory" you should be able to use your saved files.

I'm not going to say you can until I get my fixed discs back and test the "saved files" myself.

As soon as I get mine back I'll post if they worked with the saved files or not. Also, I'll post if the "fix" for the Calvin Glitch acutally works.
