HM:AP: favorite/least fav. bachelors/bachelorettes?

This topic has probably been started a million times but I wanna hear....
Who are your favorite and least favorite bachelors and bachelorettes?
(I only just started playing and I want to hear about every1!)

Let me start with myself. These are just my opinions.
Favorite bachelors:
*Chase: my number one favorite. He has a lot of personality and character and because he starts out saucy or rude, whenever he's nice it feels a lot sweeter. Plus, his kids are so cute and in my opinion he's a good dad

Still have no idea why he falls for Maya....can any1 explain that?
* Luke: my other favorite! His chippy attitude and fiery personality make him adorable.
* Gale: I have NO idea why, but on my next save file I have to marry him; he's just so cute for some reason.

Favorite bachelorettes:
*Luna: I'm not exactly sure why but it may have to do with her cute dress and fun personality that is a bit sarcastic edged sometimes but usually fun. Some people think she's inmature but I don't really think so.
*Anissa: kind of reminds me of myself: cordial, nice, hard-working....plus she and Jin are pretty cute together.

Least favorite bachelors:
*Harvest King: (Ignis) He's too serious, in my opinion. He could be nice, I guess, but in my opinion the formal speech gets in the way of personality.

Least favorite bachelorettes:
*Selena: I accept her clothing as part of her culture but there's something....off about her....
*Maya: I am NOT saying this just because I like Chase! Maya's too (in my opinion)....inmature and easily gets mad for no apparent reason. Dakota is really cute but Maya strikes me as awkward and kid-ish.

Oh boy if you go around saying things like that you are just asking for your topic to turn into a fight XD. Well whatever that most likely won't happen this time. One thing though no one should ever have to explain or justify why they like someone. If that is who they like then that's who they like. They have their own taste and it is as simple as that. Saying to "justify their position" is impolite. I am not saying you're being mean just that the wording you used can be taken the wrong way.

When it comes to Maya and Chase I always thought of it like this for some reason: Maya is like a lot of stereotypical TV heroines. She is childish, clumsy, loves food, and isn't very smart. All the time jerky guys with hidden soft sides in shows fall for that type of girl. I guess their optimistic, never give up attitude grows on them. For whatever reason they are a very common relationship set up. That is why I don't question it :T.

Anyways here is my opinions.
Favorite Bachelorettes:
Candace: She is really pretty and is such a sweet heart. She works hard, loves her family, likes the same types of animals as me, and is kind. Also did I mention she's pretty XD. Just love her super blue look for some reason.

Phoebe: I love her. She was the first person to gain a heart for me, the first to be my friend, and the first to get ten hearts. Her personality is wonderful (not to mention different. There aren't many HM girls like her) and I love her outfits.

Witch Princess: She's so funny, confident, and has more than one side to her. She is like the classic WP so I thought I'd just think of her as a copy but in the end I couldn't help but like her as her own character.

Least Favorite:
Umm I guess Maya. She is the only one that just didn't grow on me. All the rest did even if I started out not liking them. And again she reminds me too much of the overused anime heroine personality.

Bachelors:
Favorites:
Julius: He is fabulous and so nice. He is thoughtful and creative not to mention very funny and completely confident in himself. He doesn't ever treat the MC badly and that's really great. He is just too fabulous X3.

Harvest King: Dude he's the flippin Harvest King. That's amazing :0! And just look at him he is all glowing and amazaaah *_*. Of course I love his personality too. He is dignified, responsible, respectable, feels superior but still has sympathy for those beneath him. He is just about everything you'd except a real deity to be. Also his wedding scene is so adorable. Plus dat ring. It is bomb.

Wizard: I love the quite types. He is so low maintenance, he almost never has any kind of outburst or makes a scene. He tries to handle everything himself but is lonely at the same time. It is so cute how he starts to open up to the MC.

Gill gets honorable mention. I love him too. If he was more preppy he might have made it to the top three.

Least Favorite:
Chase: I despise orange everything and that's pretty much all he loves D:. So that automatically puts him at the bottom of my list. Also his unnecessary rudeness didn't help his case. It's mostly the orange thing though :lol:

Calvin: He could have been really cool but he spends way too much time hammering down the fact that he is older than the MC. I get it stop telling me already. Also the fact he doesn't take relationships seriously is not something I like. He does in the end so that's good but having some many past relationships that just ended because he got over liking her is not something I like in a guy.

Oh, sorry! I didn't mean it that way. I just wanted to hear a little more about each bachelor/bachelorette, 'cause as I'm only a bit into the game.

Yeah that's what I figured you meant. I know you weren't trying to be mean. Just when it comes to topics that are about defending who you like sometimes people get too serious and it becomes a fight.

And I like Luna too ^^. She's probably my fourth favorite. It's funny we seem to like and dislike the same bachelorettes but our bachelors preferences are almost opposite XD.

Let me see. If I can remember them~

Favorite Bachelorettes-
Candace:
She is quiet natured and shy. She sorta reminds me of myself. When my siblings want me to do something, I basically do it. She is also sweet and can sometimes be interesting.

Renee:
Renee was my first favorite on ToT/AP. She was kind and sweet. She is also easy to woo and her dates where cute. Just a usual farmer girl.

Anissa:
She goes beside Renee. She is wise and hard working.

Pheobe:
For some reason, her love for ores and stones interested me. She is tomboyish and doesn't care to much about style and so on. Basically a normal teenager/adult that wants to explore alone.

Luna:
I'm not sure why..but she reminds me of my sister!:'D

Kathy:
I for some reason just like her. She seems caring and cheerful about work.
She is a bit serious too.

Least Favorite Bachelorettes-
Maya:
She seems a bit childish. She is cute and her personality is bubbly, but..she looks young to me.

Selena:
I've really just never liked her. I guess how she was when you first met her. She came off rude.

Favorite Bachelors:
Luke:
He is a loveable idiot with blue hair. I just liked his firey and bubbly personality. It reminds me of one of my friends. He is the same way XD
Uhhh He also cares, and the birth event is cute~

Wizard:
Quiet and Mysterious. I love his eyes and how his nature is.

Gill:
I like how he follows in his mother's footsteps to help teach sometimes.
He cares about the town, and about other people even though he doesn't show it.

Chase:
He is very sarcastic. Its funny how he gets annoyed easily, and he is cute :3
Oranges aren't my thing, but they was quite easy for me to get to on my file.

Harvest King:
Hey, he is a Harvest King. Whats not to love >.>?

Least Favorite Bachelors-
Calvin:
He gave off an older vibe to me. And his historical talking made me confused.

/Don't push it -_-

Toby:
He just seemed to lazy for me.
He was a layed back and chilled person. So nothing really wrong there.

Other Opinions (In between favorite and least)-
Julius:
He seems cool and such. I just never liked his hair. It urked me .-.
I made him my best friend on AP though. ^^
So he is inbetween really. He is fabulous. Can't go wrong there.

Owen:
Ehh, he is sorta an inbetween character.
He is funny too. His and Luke's friendship is funny X3
Also sweet. He is a caring person.

Favorite bachelor:
Gill. I have a huge thing for tsundere characters. Julius is tied for this as well, because I also like FABULOUS characters :lala:

Favorite bachelorette:
Kathy. Kathy grew on me SO much in the span of like 2 seasons. It was ridiculous. One minute I didn't give her much thought and was courting her like everyone else, and the next minute I was like NOPE sorry Renee, Luna, and Anissa, this girl's got you beat! I love her carefree nature and cheerful personality. She can be snarky but she's also really confident and sweet. Love this chick to death, basically!

Least favorite bachelor:
This is hard because I actually like the bachelors more than the bachelorettes. I guess I'd say the Harvest King... his demeanor is pretty arrogant and I don't know... he doesn't seem all that social or nice. The hardest to approach, so yea, I guess he's my least favorite.

Least favorite bachelorette:
Maya: Too kiddy and really immature. Chase can have her :lol:

I'm having such a hard time choosing a husband for this game, there's too many guys I like. I'll be doing the top and bottom 3 of boys and girls since I actually like a lot of the marriage candidates this time around.

My Top 3 Girls
Renee - She's so sweet. I find it a bit odd that she likes a lot of yellow, but her fishing hobby makes up for it since that's my favorite hobby in the Harvest Moon games.
Candace - She's so cute. I like shy girls in the Harvest Moon and Rune Factory universes. Unless there's a better girl (in this case Renee) they're usually my first choice.
Luna - I don't care if she's rude, her character changes over time. Plus, look at her, you can't tell me she isn't adorable in her Fall/Winter outfit.

My Bottom 3 Girls (The last one is my least favorite)
Phoebe - She's too much like Ann from the SNES/MM versions. I'd rather have Phoebe over Ann though, but compared to the other girls, Phoebe isn't for me.
The Witch - Just...NO! I hate almost everything about her, but she isn't my least favorite. Selfish brat, she didn't listen to the Wizard and he was right about what happened. I would give Wizard the Fugue Mushroom everytime over the Witch.
Maya - She's TOO CHEERFUL! I can't stand her, I'd rather her NOT be in the game at all.

My Top 3 Guys (No order since I don't know who I'm marrying)
...Even I can't figure this out!

My Bottom 3 Guys (Again, the last one is my least favorite)
Toby - I consider marrying him, but he's the last guy on that list, so Toby goes here. I think he talks too much about fishing.
Owen - I don't care if his character changes, I can't stand him.
Julius - I don't like his personality. I think he's unique, but he isn't for me.

Chase comes in a close second, followed by Harvest King.

Least Favorite Bachelor:
Eh, that's hard, since I like them all in a way. I guess the one I like the least would be Toby. He is sweet though.

Favorite Bachelorette:
Maya
She isn't the same as she was in ToT, and I wish she was, but I still really like her. Second would be a tie between Witch and Luna.

Least Favorite Bachelorette:
Phoebe
She's really cute, but I actually prefer her with Calvin. :3

Favorite Girls
Witch - She's perfect, imo. I can't really describe it, but she's always fun to be around with. She's adorable~
Candace - I kind of miss her really shy self, cause that was adorable. But I'm glad she's more confident about herself. She's a sweet and cute girl and has a special place in my heart~ <3
Selena/Luna - One of the two. Love 'em both though.

Least Favorite Girls
Renee - Sweet, but boring. Make as a better friend, imo.
Harvest Goddess - Same as above.
Kathy - Same as above.

Favorite Guys
Julius - He is so sweet, romantic, and just a fun guy to be around. I also think he is incredibly good looking.
Wizard - I love magical peeps, and I love those who are into stargazing.
Calvin - He's awesome, attractive and I'm a real sucker for adventurers/ruin explorers. Plus, the children he gives you are beautiful.

Least Favorite Guys
Chase - Definitely him. He's such a *akl;fsdjfa;dsfj*.
Luke - Just not into him.
Toby - Same as Luke.

So, overall, I really don't hate any of the candidates except Chase. He's a jerk, especially to Maya.

As for the pairing itself, the reason he falls for her is because she is everything he lacks. She's optimistic, sweet, and naive; while Chase is pessimistic, rude as anything, and much more conscious of things going around him. For the most part, he just enjoys messing around with her, because she is an easy target to mess, tease, and harass with. It's pretty much like the kid who would always pick on the person he liked because s/he never was aware of their feelings, and sometimes were a bit too proud to admit it. Maya, while painfully energetic to the point of it being annoying, is a very affectionate girl.

Favorite bachelors: (in no particular order, I'm still undecided!)
Luke: I married him in ToT and I still love him in this game. He's basically the same confident, adorable, happy guy from the other game. I don't think I'll marry him since I already have, but he's awesome.
Owen: Why do so many people hate him? O.o I've never really thought he was rude or anything. He seems like a good guy to me, and he's got the most hearts right now.
Chase: I love his design, it's so cool. And he cooks, and a guy cooking is always attractive. His rudeness doesn't really bug me because I know that it goes away, and it's not over the top rude like some characters can be.
Wizard: I haven't really raised his friendship/affection up much, but I think he's so cool. He can be a little boring, but I really want to like him so I'm still trying.

Least Favorite Bachelors:
Gill: His looks and personality just scream snob to me. I've never really liked him, it seems like he was pampered too much as a kid.
Calvin: Meh. I can't really find anything to like about him. I don't hate him, but for me he's really not that great.

Favorite Bachelorettes:
Selena: She's really pretty. Good for her for not caring what other people think. I find her interesting and different.
Witch: In every HM game, Witch is awesome. I don't know what it is about her, but I always love her. So much better than the Harvest Goddess.
Luna: She's adorable. Her character is fantastic.
Candace: Absolute opposite of Luna in personality, but she's so sweet. It's hard not to like her.

Least Favorite Bachelorettes:
I don't really think there are any bachelorettes I truly don't like in this game, just some are very forgettable. Renee and Anissa have never been anything special to me.

There is also one bachelor and one bachelorette I don't really consider for marriage, more just like my besties. Julius is so fricken cool. As other people have been saying, he's fabulous! And Maya is a sweetie. Not the smartest girl, but I really like talking to her.

Candace - Candace is the love of my in game life! :lol:

She is unique with her blue hair and shyness, I also love her addiction to tea (I like tea too) I've married her atleast eight times and love her children as well...

Anissa - I just like her. She reminds me of my first crush, she is caring and I love her attitude...I also love having Craig and Ruth as in laws :lala:

Selena - Don't kill me, but I really like Selena. She's sassy and I just lover her personality. I also visit Toucan Island alot and think her parents are legit.

Favorite Bachelors -
Luke - Best. Character. EVER! I love his attitude and he is so awesome, I also love his children as well.

Owen - I think he's awesome, but i've never married him in my girl file but I always befriend him as he is so kind, funny and I love his drunk scenes.

Toby - I like that he's laid back and chill all the time, I also love fishing in Animal Parade.

Least Favorite Bachelorettes -

Luna -....I tried to kill her with my hammer so many times! She is really annoying and I hate that she is always my sister in law...
