Favorite Bachelors:
Wizard: He is really nice and has a gentle heart that makes me open my heart up out to him.
Chase: He seems to be really sweet once you get the know him even tho i know he can be a lil cold-hearted at first.
Luke: Bubbly personality and he's like always energetic on alot of things
Gill: Seems like a dependable reasonable guy to date as i have yet to date/marry him yet o.o;
Least Favorite Bachelors:
Toby: He really sounds boring if he just like to take naps everyday and fish... i don't like fish O-o;
Jin: I just hate the way how he always talks about your health everyday x.x;
Calvin: Not my type into the whole archeology thing
Owen: Err...something about him just throws me off ^^;
Julius: Not into feminine type guys ^^; I do like how he talks about being artistic in fashion.
Harvest King: Biggest mistake when i married him as he is really a big jerk and i think he can be full of himself most of the times. I married him just to see what it was like ;/
Favorite Bachelorettes:
Luna: She is really cute and adorable ^^ I love Pumpkin Pie like she does and KITTY FACE =3 I love her design outfits and she has a true bubbly personality :D
Candace: I like the shy-type girls as i am pretty shy myself. She does try her best to say the right words.
Harvest Goddess: She really seems nice and elegant to be with.
Renee: A nice normal girl who loves animals, but i just find her okay to be with. She is really sweet and kind
Kathy: She sounds like a mature woman that knows how to handle a business well.
Least Fav Bachelorettes:
Phoebe: Um...not much to say about her. Probly the same reason like Calvin
Selena: Ugh...i hate her wedding dress, but i think she's a little stuck-up sometimes
Maya: She might seem sweet, but she is very childish especially when it comes to Chase
Anissa: She's very sweet and loveable, but i just can't seem to get an actual interest into marrying her D:
Witch: I just never had any interest into her
This is just from my own experience of the characters

Favorite Bachelors
Wizard: He's self-sufficient, quiet and doesn't make a fuss over silly things. He's also very smart and likes to study natural phenomenons. He's such a lonely, sweetly socially awkward guy. I think what finally did me in with him was that during the Firefly Festival he wanted to study the Fireflies. I love how he wants to know how the world works. To me, he's more of an Alchemist than a Wizard since most of what he does is actually proto-science stuff.
Chase: He's a bit of a jerk at first but he softens later. He's smart, sarcastic, and not too sweet. I'm the kind of person that doesn't like being called sappy pet names or being told cheesy stuff so his matter of fact personality is perfect for me. What got me the hardest was his 9 hearts line ""Do you like it when people tell you that they love you? I thought that girls would be mad if they weren’t told that, but you seem to be different." Because that's exactly how I am.
Gill: He's quite snobbish so I didn't like him much at first but he's smart, organized and apparently a good administrator. He loves his town and looks after the people's well being. He can be a stick in the mud but it really makes you feel the more special when he acknowledges how important you are to him. What I liked about him the most was that while he treated the whole courtship as more of a business (going to buy a new suit for your father is NOT a date, imo) than anything, when he's at 8hearts+ he stops pretending and just tells you outright that you make him happy.
Luke: He's so carefree and happy. He's lovely. He isn't very perceptive, so full of energy all the time and wants to make everything extreeeme but that's what's more charming about him. Once a husband, he's a bit more centered but he doesn't lose his spark and makes for a very entertaining companion. Even when he argues with you, he isn't malicious, snappish or sulky. The reconciliation scene with him is pretty sweet. What sold me on him was when you are married and you take him out on a walk he's all like: "Yeah! You can even run, I like it!" (most of the other bachelors aren't too great on running, not that it affects the game in any way, but it's cute).
Special mention goes to Toby: His laid-back personality is calming.
Favorite Bachelorettes:
Renee: She's nice, uncomplicated and likes fishing. I like fishing. She's just good and has no mayor noticeable flaws. Gives me a kind of Girl-next-door vibe.
Luna: She's smart, business oriented and still kind and loving towards her sister (and family) even when the two of them are complete opposites. She won't let anyone take advantage of her because of her age or looks. That's admirable.
Witch Princess: She's funny, quirky, childish and self-centered, a combination that makes her quite entertaining. The way she speaks of the world and the past is very amusing. She can be anything but boring. I like that.
Least Favorite Bachelors
Owen: He's nice, reliable and I like him a good deal but I wouldn't marry him. His textbook manly personality is a bit off-putting to me and comes off a bit too strongly sometimes too. He's the very definition of old school male which can be attractive to many but not me. He's sweet in the confession scene but his 6hearts line was what took him out of my potential husband list: ""When I think that you might be with some one else, <Character>, I can't sit still. I'd probably throw a fit... I'm more childish than I thought." Then he gets a bit clingy and oh, « Harvest Goddess », his Love Letter!
Julius: He's awesomely fabulous! I love that about him but his lines are a bit too sappy and/or corny to my liking. He's not exactly shallow and he is a genuinely good guy to everyone, not judging or presumptuous. Still, his words aren't too deep or thoughtful and his speech pattern (with stars, hearts and musical notes) is a bit annoying. He's my best friend in the game though. What I liked the least about him when dating was the way he concentrates too much on buttering the main character and his cheesy dialogue. I feel like he's trying too hard.
Special mention goes to Jin: I liked him a lot at first but then when he falls in love (and after marriage) he refers to the feeling constantly as a sickness and I didn't like that at all. Say it once, it's romantic, say it all the time, it's like you don't even want it.
Least Favorite Bachelorettes
Maya: She's childish and all she thinks about is food even when she isn't a good cook herself. She's kind of an airhead and exasperatingly selfish. Being nice and cheerful to everyone doesn't outweighs eating other people's food just 'cause you wanted it or not actually trying your hardest to learn to at least cook decently (I think that when you put your mind to it, you can do anything if not good, at least okay-ish). I don't know how Chase could fall for her and I imagine their marriage would be suffocating and stressful.
Funnily enough, I had at first married the Wizard but I couldn't help to feel bad for Chase the more events I saw of Maya to the point I had to marry him just to ease my conscience. (And then I felt stupid because, well, this is just a game. Still, it was very distressing the first days after I married the Wizard).
