It is one of my all time favorite games~
I don't have the 3DS version, just the PS2 one. And I am a huge Guy fangirl <3 But I guess that's pretty obvious ^^;

I'm discovering how much fun it is to play as Guy and send everything flying across the field.

But I must control Anise to I can spam Bloody Howling and Negative Gate because AI Anise is STUPID and only uses her strike artes EVEN THOUGH I have her on spell artes ONLY.

Do you know how hard Legretta was on my first playthough because AI Anise is retarded? Gosh I just laid Legretta to waste by Bloody Howling her to death. She didn't even get one Eclair du Larms in.

I love playing as Guy cuz he's so fast <3

Oh geez I don't like playing as Anise cuz Tokunaga is soooooooo slowwww. D:
But I do love hearing her say "Bloody Howling" because of her pronunciation xD "Bloody how-wel-ling"
And I like hearing Arietta's "Fairy Circle"
...and I love how ridiculous Sync's lisp is xD "STHONE DRAGON ASTHENT!"

Yeah Anise is slow as « Puppy Doodoo », but using her as a spell caster is freaking awesome.

I'd have to say though, playing as Natalia is the most fun for me. She's incredibly versatile that i can use her without ever having to use a gummi(gel?).

Goooosh I really want Namco to stop being stupid though and give us more Tales games. We missed out on far too many.

Oh my gosh, the first time you battle Legretta was awful. It took me so many tries on my first playthrough. I levelled up two or three times before I could beat her. D: Then on my second playthrough it only took me two tries. xD

Hmm, I didn't know that about Natalia. I'm not very fond of using an archer after my experience with Raven in Tales of Vesperia. I have nothing against him though, he's awsome, but...I dunno I guess it was because I found controling an archer difficult because I felt his artes were more suited for very pin-pointed attacks (other than his magic artes though) which made battling difficult for me. I'll keep what you said about Natalia in mind when I start playing with my 3DS.

I honestly love all the characters, but if I had to pick a favourite, it would definitely be Tear. <3 I am also in love with Luke. I have a figure of him. xD My favourite one of the villains is Arietta! I even cosplayed as her! :D

On my team, I usually use Luke, Tear, Jade, and Natalia. In my opinion, I don't want to use two swordsmen, having an extra healer is always nice, and Anise dies pretty easily.

Oh, I don't know if you beat Arietta yet, but since I don't think you have Natalia at that point, I'd use Luke, Tear, Jade, and Anise. First, go straight for the Liger, ignoring the other monster and Arietta. Then, kill the other monster. Finally, beat Arietta. I know this because after I lost the first time, there was a skit, and Anise said to team up against the Liger first. I ended up winning the second time.

So yeah, Tales fangirl right here. My first Tales game was Abyss. I've also finished Graces, currently playing Vesperia, and started Symphonia. ouo

*GASP* Another Tales of Vesperia player! How far into the game are you? I'm on my second playthrough trying to get all the achievments and titles that I missed.

Well, I can only play it when I go to my friend's house, and we've only played it twice, so we're just over eight hours in. We are currently in Caer Bocram, right after you go to Capua Torim for the first time.

The only characters we have on our team are Yuri, Estelle, Repede, Rita, and Karol. We still don't have Raven and Flynn. We haven't even met Judith.

Rita is my favourite character! She's so cool. -w-

Oh and Legretta is a Pain. My first time I used Natalia and shot her from afar until he died. All you could hear from my 3DS was:

"EH-YA-YA-YA-EH-YA-YA-YA-STARTSTROKE"

But it worked :I

When I played the 360 version, I just got to Capua Nor for the first time (more specifically, just unlocked camping) before I had to sell my 360. I miss that game SO. DAMN. MUCH. ;_;

Ahh, that place. The only complaint I have of Caer Bocram are those control things that move you around. Other than that, I had fun in there. On my second playthrough I'm actually about to head over there after I finish up in Capua Torim.

Well, my friend and I are using a walkthrough because we don't have a lot of time to play, so we want to finish it as quickly as possible. I can only go to her house once every couple of weeks.

In my second play through of Abyss, I am in Keterburg for the first time. I spent waaaay too much time in the casino. xD
