Depends what you mean by annoying. The graphics are made up of pixel art, which I'm usually not a huuuge fan of since a lot of times when modern games do it looks cheap/lazy instead of nostalgia, but it looks really good here. If you want see what the game looks like, here's a trailer:theboysareback wrote:Might try it. Are the graphics annoying? The Ninja wrote: Slightly off topic and I apologize for that but have you checked out Blaster Master Zero? It's really fun and only $10 and I've beat it like 7 times and it's got a great soundtrack and I highly recommend it. It's also on 3DS as well but the Switch version has the most features (better framerate, co-op, and HD rumble).

I have sensory issues. Can't do pixel art.The Ninja wrote: Depends what you mean by annoying. I just completed the Demo, and it's more fun than I expected it to be! I don't know if I'm sold for a purchase though... part of me wants to keep playing the game, but at the same time, once your adventure's over, I feel like it's going to be really over. Hopefully there will be some post-game stuff, since it would probably just sit on a shelf collecting dust once the final credits roll. Or I guess you could play again with new characters, but... eh.
Just for fun, I played as a female pop star, and I was very surprised at how op I was! It was really convenient being able to hit all enemies at once with my normal attack, and my skills/magic were a blast to use as well. I ended up completing the Demo with two pop stars, a chef, and a witch/mage, probably being the weirdest combination of RPG classes ever.

I still use Miitomo, though it's mainly just for my silly avatar pictures that I use on this site. Other than that, yeah no one really plays games like tomodachi life and Miitomo anymore, since the gameplay becomes repetitive over time.Tiptoze wrote:Also, I wish more people liked and used Miitomo, it's a fun app.

I played Miitomo for a few days but since I had no one to invite or visit I got very bored and stopped playing ^^'
Any game that's super repetitive I get tired of very fast
Miitopia I like the demo (still not finished cuz I'm playing super slowly).
It's cute and a few things that I can do but even that gets repetitive after a while.
I don't mind playing the demo but unless the full game is $10 or something I don't see myself buying it anytime soon.
I feel like I'm so picky

Tomodachi Life (and it's DS predecessor) sold exceptionally well in Japan, so I can see another sometime down the road. Whether it's on 3DS of not is a bigger question. The 3DS has at least 2018 left in it and possibly a good chunk of 2019 depending on how things pan out next year.Blue Rose wrote:Definitely will get it at some point, but not right away.
NGL I would love to see an expanded Tomodachi Life-esque kind of sequel. I liked the simulation aspect and the humor/zaniness. It got old after awhile but I actually played it for a LONG time and would love to play something like it again.
Though I have a hard time seeing a Mii centric game on the Switch. I might eat my words eventually though.
