I had an urge to identify different nationalities that inspired the different outfits.
Now of course I've found weird contradictory errors when it comes to connections with other characters but I suppose the concept artists didn't bother to re-check since all that matters is that it looks pretty anyway.
And then again, no one really pays attention to these things normally.
America ...or some place in Europe; These are like the most vaguest and recognizable outfits that you can see here that you KNOW will be from somewhere between the late 1700s to the 1800s era. Typical civilian to farmer/peasants. Okay to distinguish that particular pink dress from other dresses shown to be shown is that hat. Mainly, it's not a bonnet of some sort, and it actually reminiscent to that of a Victorian hat.
Germany/Austria; The girls are wearing a
dirndl, which was typically worn by peasants. The mayor and the kid are wearing a
lederhosen.
Norway;
Bunads were usually worn by farmers. Dirka is wearing a
tracht, which are commonly worn by young boys in various European countries. And then you just have your substantial generic overcoat...and yeah.
Ireland; Come on, look at that clover. Also his whole character design is like practically the basic stereotype look that you see for any Scottish/Irish old guy cartoon character.

Portugal; I don't know why the twins have richer clothes than their respective parents.
Persia or Turkey or....?; The turban is too vague as is, but Lloyd's wearing a very royal-looking
kaftan which has been identified to be used by both Turkey and Persia (which is today, Iran). Then again, I could be completely wrong: his headdress looks more like a
krama, which tends to be used a lot by
Cambodian vendors.
Mexico; I shouldn't bother with this guy.
Arabia...I think; I believe Disney movies and therefore conclude that he goes into your house at night to take your STUFF. Yeah can't formally find anything, so no clue on his outfit.
Japan or China; Kagetsu is a self-explanatory Japanese name, but they made the mistake of making her outfit is of
Han Chinese clothing design. It looks like
one of those silk robe outfits. I don't recall anything in traditional Japanese attire looking like that.
I have no « Snuggly Bunny » clue; These people have outfits that are either mutant hybrid babies of various culture suits and costumes or, designs that were compiled when the artists just began going overboard to making « Cow Poopoo » as it goes along. Like I'd seriously appreciate info. My only guess is that Freya's outfit is some bizaroo, improvised German outfit in order compensate for the fact that she doesn't seem to be the type to prefer bloomers.
