Ushi No Tane - Harvest Moon

They're not really about playing the game, just the story. I'm collecting information for a fanfic I'd like to write. I was just wondering if there are any events or dialogues in the game that answer these questions:

-How long have Rod, Aja, and Joanna been gone by the time you arrive in Mineral Town?
-How long has Lillia been sick?
-Of all of the adults, who for certain has lived in Mineral Town since their childhood, and who for certain hasn't lived there as long? (For instance, I know in one scene, Sasha and Lillia are reminiscing about when they were younger, and Duke used to bully Jeff. So, I take it that the four of them have lived in Mineral Town for a long time. But I also know that Anna probably hasn't lived there as long, because Manna says she used to live in the town Aja is now in (I think).
-How long has Ellen been unable to walk? I think I remember her saying it was ever since she was a child, but I'm not entirely sure.

Thanks to anyone who can answer any of these. I don't know if some of these questions were answered in extra events in More Friends of Mineral Town, so if you know they were in there, please say so.

No times are given for how long Rod, Aja, and Joanna have been gone for. Rod is remembered quite well by Popuri and Rick, so he couldn't have left when they were just little (have to do a bit of estimating for Rick and Popuri's ages); Aja moved because her parents were quarreling, so she would have been young adult-ish (maybe gone for about 5 years?), and Joanna was last in town when May was a baby (she dumped May with Barley and left...), so she hasn't been gone long either. Nothing is really mentioned about how long Lillia has been sick, I would think she wouldn't have been sick much before Rod left, at most a year or so before.
All that's said about Ellen is she was 'younger', so probably not a child, but a woman. Beyond that, your guess is as good as mine.
Basil moved to Mineral Town to study it's botany, and I suspect Anna moved from the city as well (she continues to wear her long white gloves and jewelry all the time, not a common thing for people who grow up in little towns, so high class city?) Mary is a wildcard... I'm not going to guess; Carter moved there (he apparently caused a bit of a stir), as did Kai (bigger stir) and Zack (was brought in under Rod's wing, then he fell in love with Rod's wife; if you go to his house he has pictures of Lillia on his wall). Won is foreign (of course), as is Cliff. Those are all the one's I know for sure aren't from Mineral Town... Duke, Manna, Lillia, Jeff, and Sasha (as you mentioned) have lived there since childhood, and as for the rest I'm not sure right now. Hope I helped.

It's really okay if the games don't have exact answers to my questions. After all, it gives me more freedom in writing.

I thought of another question: Does it ever say how old Aja or Joanna are?

I'm guessing Aja is at least a little bit older than the other girls, since she seems to be around Harris' age (I'm just thinking that since he talks about liking her), and it seems to me that Harris is older than the marriage candidates (I thought that even when he was one in HM:64).

As for Joanna, I always figured she had May when she was pretty young (like maybe around the marriable girls' ages), and wasn't ready to settle down (I kinda got the feeling that May was an accident), so...well, how old is May? I would guess that Joanna's age is May's age + the age of the marriable girls.

I think you would be right in thinking Aja's age would be a bit above the marriageable girls, I would think she'd have been around the marriageable girl's age when she moved out, so a bit older.
Joanna would probably be a wee bit older than you're suspecting, Barley is her father, so (as you seem to be guessing late 20's, correct me if I'm wrong) I would think a fair bit into her 30's at least (I'm guessing Barley is in his 70's, so I'm assuming he wasn't 40+ when Joanna was born. It seems like most people in Mineral Town had their kids in their 20's and 30's.). I'm working with a lot of assumptions, so feel free to modify my thoughts if you please.

Okay, so Joanna wasn't really young and not ready to settle down (not that that would excuse her behavior, mind you). She was just a heartless, self-centered jerk.

I seriously doubt Barley is as old as 70-ish. I think he's in his late 50's or early 60's at most. Since he works with animals, he must still be young enough to be in good enough shape for barn work. Lots of guys can look older than they really are. Also, lots of guys are older dads, so Joanna could still be a young lady in her mid 20's. Which would explain both her apparent irresponsiblity and the contention between her and Barley.
