I would plant a whole bunch of grass and just leaving it there in order to generate more runeys in your homestead. Winter will be a pain, but in the other seasons this should help.

Not as much of a pain as you'd guess. If you have a properly running Grass Factory, you'll collect at least 20 Grass Runey each day. On days where you don't have to deal with managing Runey (1-7 of each month), need 14 Grass Runey for all prosperity areas. So, for each area, you will have to have (23x14) 322 Grass Runey for a full month. You will collect, in that timeframe, 460 Grass Runey if you get 20 each day. With the leftover Grass Runey, you will collect 414 Grass Runey surplus over 3 seasons, giving you -more- then enough Grass Runey... allowing you to completely ignore your grass factory over the winter if you want! During Winter, however, your Grass Factory will -still work-. One way or another, you will be able to simple ignore the grass factory for a while if you want to.

Another amazing mini-guide. But there must be something wrong with me. I feel like I have it one minute, but then I get totally confused again.. Why can't I grasp this concept with balancing runey's and grass factories and what-not.. I'm going to go sit in a corner and cry now... lol Curse the public school system!

garnet_goodie wrote: Any tips to get a Rock Factory? ;A; (and I have like, extra 70 Tree Runeys that just kinda rape everyone so I dunno what to do with them now in my bag <///3) maybe I can answer. 1) try to remove all water runey at public square(*). 2) if you have constant supply of tree runey you can place more than 50 tree runey plus 5 grass runey to feed tree runey at public square(*). 3) throw about 10 rock runey from your homestead at public square(*) too. (*) = you can replace public square with rock oriented area like business district or mountain road I guess, but the best area that I know is public square

If I just leave matured crops out on my homestead without harvesting them, will they just continue producing Runeys? Thanks in advance!

Smash Genesis wrote: If I just leave matured crops out on my homestead without harvesting them, will they just continue producing Runeys? Thanks in advance! Precisely. One random runey will be produced for every 9 mature crops on your field. This works well with grass since it will stay alive through all seasons (except Winter). However, personally I used turnips because I was in a rush to get crops planted and start producing runeys as soon as possible.

If you also add 10 rock to the grass factory it helps keep the water loss to a minimum.
60 / 10 / 0 / 10
and the next day usually will look something like this:
54 / 0 / 0 / 30

I really want to like this game, I really do, it's such an awesome game. But I really, really dislike the runies. It takes way too much time to grab the grass runies and distribute them about the other areas. I barely have any time for anything else! It's even worse when it's raining, I spend most of the day just entering and exiting just to get 18 runies from my grass factory. Its autumn in my game and I haven't done much in the way of the dungeon :/.
I wish they made it easier to distribute runies so you would have more time for other things.
