Also, I think that these designs are just supposed to be really basic, because the characters are so customizable. Why bother coming up with a crazy new design that no one is going to keep?

Well, if it isn't Claire's sister Clarissa and Jack/Pete's brother Jackson/Peter. But yeah, my mind went right to Claire and Jack, but more mature.

If her hat and buttoned-on pockets (derp) really is cow hide... then some cow must have been killed along the way for that suggesting some slaughter just happened in some other farm beforehand DDx

I kind of like the designs, but I don't think it matters too much if the characters are customizable anyway. I'd imagine it's for that reason that they look like the old MC's.

This. It really disappoints me, too. But whatever...at least new!Claire looks better and not as...dorky? Dunno. Guess it's the different art and the maturity of it, but whatever.

The only handheld HM game I've played is Island of Happiness, so I have no problem with them using old designs.

Plus, they're hot. ;D Anyways, I'll be changing the girl's hair color anyway. Mostly likely to black or red. And I think her outfit actually suits her. The guy? Iunno, I might keep him like that.
