To tell the truth.... I'm not super excited about this game. I mean, in my opinion, customizing your character and farm and such actually takes away from the quality. I don't care if there is only one character to be, that's not the point of the game. I don't want a cheesy cowboy hat and overalls, I just want what they make. Plus the crops are so big..... This looks to much like Animal Crossing to me. I hate to admit it, but I'm starting to convert to team retro HM.

I love customization, and I've always wanted it in an HM game.

^There's no such thing as hipsters. No one wants to be labled a hipster so every hipster is just being a hipster ironically. Also since being a hipster is so mainstream all hipsters are mainstrem. HIPSTER PARADOX.

But yeah I like all new HM games XD All games after DS/C seem to be a 'new generation' of HM to me though.

I agree, I'm not particularly eager for this game. The graphics aren't my to my particular tastes, and a lot of the atmosphere of the game just feels a bit...stale? Too different? I'm not particularly against change, but I'm not fond of this KIND of change. Regardless, I will still check out the game, but I don't have high hopes for it as of now.

Yay, someone agrees!! I like graphics the way they were to tell the truth. It looks kind of like they downgraded....

And to Princess.... I like GrB better too! In fact, I love GrB!! This game though.... I would rather they make AWL for 3DS to tell the truth.

Wait I'm confused you don't like the default design (cowboy hat and overalls) but you also don't like that you get to change it? If you think it's cheesy shouldn't it be a good thing that you don't have to wear that outfit? If there was no customization that's the look you'd be stuck with the whole game.

But anyways I agree that they are focusing too much on customization and it is messing with the feel of the game for me. I hope this is just a one time thing but I'm still excited. Especially now that they have started showing more characters again. I like them all (but that little girl is still my favorite. Too cute <3)

I personally do like the default design- it's like Claire- but I'm afraid that since you can customize it it won't look that good.

If you like it why did you call it cheesy >.>?

You can see the default design during game play game in a couple of screen shots and it doesn't look bad. You can just go with that instead of changing anything. That's what I'm gonna do. I like the default design and don't want to customize the character.

Unless they have a really cool outfit XP. But the hair and eye color is gonna stay.

As of late, my expectations for HM have been going down, and I do see where you're coming from. Sometimes, you can have customization overload and you do lose that HM feel, but a part of me is waiting to see how it all turns. I think changing your characters looks is exciting, but when I saw the video of the customization of your farm I felt a bit "meh" with it. Who knows, we will see with the final product.
