How will you create your main character?

So I was wondering how will everyone create there main characters, will you choose a boy or girl, will you make them look like you as much as possible, use your imagination to create an original character, or will you be using the default designs? If you make a main character that looks like you or make an original main character how will they look (skin color, hair color, eye color, hairstyle.) Here's two video made by Cher showing the options you get to use.

I'm a boy, but I'll be making a girl and boy character. I'm going to make both characters look like me as much as possible, dark skin with black short hair and when the crossdressing becomes available I'll put boy clothes on my girl character to make it look like she's a boy and there's actually some boy hair style's number 5 and 8, I like that I'll be using on both characters. I may go to Allen sometimes to change my hairstyles and color just temporary. This is going to be so much fun, I sure hope Natsume doesn't remove the crossdressing. ^.^

I'll probably make a girl character first. I'm not into bright colored hair so I'll probably choose either black, brown or red depending on the guy my character will go after with a light-colored skin tone. I also hope that they don't remove the crossdressing mechanics as well. I want my character to wear boy's clothes at some point.

Ya know, I find it very surprising how many of us there are here! :D(though I, like Celestia are bi but it still counts!)

I'd add another option to the poll. I plan to make my MC like other characters. You could call them original characters, but they're not *my* original characters so that doesn't quite work. Every time I play a game where I have to name things, I use some sort of theme. For the one where I marry Celka, I plan to make her like Alice(Alice in wonderland, though more like American McGee's Alice: Madness Returns Alice) I will prolly use all the names of my genderqueer friend(online usernames, real names, ext) in my Yuri file, and if I make an Allen file, I'll use Mai and make him my Naru XD

Face - either natural or cool

And if/when I make a boy file, I'm not sure. Whatever looks cool I suppose. I'd plan on transforming him into a girl anyway.

To actually get to put my oc in and not have to go with defaults makes me happy beyond belief :3 It'll finally feel like...
I don't know how to describe it, but it'll feel more interactive and things. You can finally have a character that is 'you' or like you and not be tied down with plain MC's.

No kidding! Though I'm not 100% on Alice, though that'll be fun. I want to make someone like Celka, and I be the maid outfit will be much like Alice's outfit. But, I also love white hair and would love to make a character with white hair. the only down side is if I get a kid...they'll look *nothing* like Celka or I XD If they're going to keep this up, they're gonna have to give us kids after the other candidates lul

I'm going to make two files, one for a girl and one for a boy. For the girl, I'll probably call her Red and give her red hair, red eyes, and a tan. I haven't decided about specific styles or outfits yet; I probably just go with whatever I like best while I'm fiddling with the character creator. For the boy, if I'm still on this Star Wars, "WEDGE ANTILLES IS THE AWESOMEST CHARACTER EVEREST!" kick, I'll probably give him dark brown or black hair, brown eyes, some simple jacket and slacks combination (since I doubt they have anything that looks enough like a flight suit for me to use it) and call him Wedge. Most likely, though, since the game'll probably come out in English after The Hobbit comes out, I'll probably make him look like Bilbo and name him Bill or Billy or Bilbo or Martin or Ian or something. Either that, or try and make him look as much as possible as my favorite dwarf. I'm a nerd.

For girl~

-Pale skin
-The... third face? The one with the smallest eyes.
-No idea for hairstyle. The long, straight one is too straight and the wavy/choppy ones are too short. :C Probably will do the one 2 spaces before the braids.
-Hair color something orangey.
-That pretty yellow-green shade for eyes.

Uh, IDK what the clothes look like. If there's a natural lolita style I will be allllllll over that. <3 Going solely by names, I'll probably like the "ruby red china". Especially since Neil comments on it and I'm going for him.

I want a fedora. :C

I think originally, I'll just for whatever looks closest to me, but I'm sure that as the game goes on, I'm just going to mix and match EVERYTHING just for the hell of it.

My female farmer will have short red hair, large green eyes, and a light skin tone. The appearance is based off of my virtual avatar persona I grew close to throughout the years I've spent on another website. Maybe I should update this HM avatar of mine since I don't really have much of an attachment to the green hair silver eyes (will probably use her for another OC/story).

My boy file will probably be based off of an OC from a circus roleplay I'm in. Medium length blue hair that is tied in a low ponytail, large green-blue eyes, and light skin. If the game has a suit that is circusy (I'm sure there will be one since Michelle's a magician by role), I'll have him wear that only if a neutral color is dominant in the whole outfit.

The design I've planned to use for my farmer is just a combination of colors that I like together. She'll have tan skin (the third darkest, I've been waiting to have a tan farmer forever), the bob haircut in dark green, and almond-shaped pink eyes. I know I wanna start with the overalls, but I want that one outfit with the shorts, long-sleeve shirt, and vest the most!
