Then it isn't "nevermelt ice" but simply "ice". Calling it by a different name could cause confusion, especially since "nevermelt ice" is an item from Harvest Moon GBC 3. Ice in this version is used for cooked recipes such as fruit shakes and ice cream.

Eli Leaves are also found randomly on the ground during Winter in the mountain area. I give them to Yuri as a gift.

I just finally got Neil's black heart event. Took a while because it was always either rainy or I'd already seen an event that day. Of the heart event music that I've heard so far (granted, that isn't much), I like his the best. Mellow and not screechy/overly peppy/sappy.

I thought I was gonna record it, but I didn't expect to see the event and I didn't want to skip back a couple days because Rebecca and Tony just came to town (their intro is really long...). So maybe I can record the purple heart event.

From what I can tell each bachelor/ette has their own song, yeah.

Just got to Summer 2. Tina moved in, and I'm waiting for Rebecca's store to open (tomorrow) so I can get more blueprints for the Level 2 town building. My current axe can't cut down all the trees which makes placement of things a real pain. Dem trees are everywhere.

Got Neil to purple heart so it's just a matter of getting Rod into town so I can get the next event.
As far as other villagers I like so far, Iroha <3 and Hannah and Emma are adorable.

Dialogue patterns seem a little unusual... sometimes they have 4-5 things to say and other times they just repeat one line. It's not like some of the other DS games where they only said greeting + one thing based on their location, but it's not like AP where it went in a definite cycle. It might be a little more randomized like ToT.

If so, I really hope Amir and Celka's is that Eastern tune they had in GB, because that would be awesome xD
