Ushi No Tane - Harvest Moon

Okay, so you all know that its going to be quite some time before LoO is released so as long as Natsume sticks to its status quot. Anyway, in the time being wouldn't it be awesome if the HM company were to port MM to the DS or maybe even the 3DS?! I mean, playing the game, it literally looks graphically identical to IoH and SI so I personally feel that it wouldn't be an issue to port or even tamper with in order to have it played on the handheld system. Also, this would be a spectacular opportunity to tide players over until the big title is released.

What do you guys think? Is this something that you would enjoy, especially if you have never had a chance to experience this game before?

Yeah, that would be a nice idea since LoB has the same high graphical style, though not so child looking, the 3DS could totally handle it. I never did finish MM so it would be nice to go back to it.

I never played MM because:
a) I don't have game cube and wii
b) I didn't like the chibi characters
But if MM was released for DS/3DS, then maybe I would decide to buy it. I heard that the game wasn't bad.

Personally I would like to see AP for 3DS.

I'd love it if ANY console game got ported to the 3DS. Especially A Wonderful life, but there's a 10000-1 chance of that ever happening.

Well, MM is already on two systems, so it'd be kind of strange to port it yet again...

I'd love MM to be ported to the 3DS.

I'd especially like for AP to be ported.

MM was my second HM console game after AWL (played FoMT and MFoMT though). Just personal opinion, but I didn't like it and gave it away. I would love to see AP ported though. I don't have a wii, so I never got to play it.

I agree with MM being on 2 consoles is enough.

AP would also be my favorite if it was ported to the 3ds.

i think magical melody would be good, but i'd like AP and ToT better.

I didntget the magical melody for the wii, it displeased me you could only play as a male.

In my opinion MM was the worst looking game when it came to graphics.
they didn't look cute at all, they looked like giant baby's, it even looked like they were wearing a diaper by the way they were standing/walking/running/etc.

it made me feel like a pedo and stuff when I played and made them marry -_-*
I'm actually happy that I sold the game so I could get something else.

I'm happy that the new portable games don't really have that style anymore.
MM and GrB and the others felt a bit to childish with those graphics.

Oh i felt pedo too...but i LOVED the sound track best, i loved the sound of rain drops fallingon the ground. i also liked the hooves cloping on the path ways as well.

Yeah, MM is probably my least favourite graphically. But other than that, it's one of my favourites of all the HM games. I don't know why, I just never ran out of things to do and I keep going back to it. I think it's because I like to complete games and it has a lot to complete/collect (notes, furniture, land, and tons of characters to get 10 hearts with!). Basically no chance that they will release it for any more consoles, but if they did I would definitely pick it up.

I honestly would love to see some Harvest Moon/Rune Factory games from the Wii as DS/3DS games, because I can't afford anymore consoles lol (not after purchasing the Japan 3DS). And... we only have one TV & the fiance uses it all the time for his PS3 & Modern Warfare so... 2nd no go there lol. And I just like being able to carry my games with me so portable consoles > others.
