Try using the Lumber Team(orange) for 7 days in every possible area. it works for me.

in ds cute the boulders that surround the entrance to the mine reappear the day after you smash them. same with the ones next to the first hot spring. not sure if this is common knowledge? but it definitely makes gathering stone easier.

Yeah, the stone around the dig site is the best way to go about getting stone lumber. Of course, the problem is that you have to have the best hammer,( mythic, I believe) to break it up.

Sadly there are no shortcuts. Once you've had the lumber HS clear out all the tillable areas of the town, the only stones regenerating daily are the boulders outside the mine and near the circus grounds (the HS won't touch them, btw) and a handful of stones randomly where ever. If you're building buildings at a fast pace, there is no way you can provide all the materials yourself. You have to build them slower, or just buy from Gotz. In my current game, I used my own materials when possible, but for the majority of my investments, I bought the materials.

Sure, using your own materials saves money, but in many cases delaying erecting a certain building (let's say, the maker shed) just because you want to gather the required stones yourself, is losing you money through delayed profits.

I would definitely have to recommend that you make it a part of your daily routine to go by the mine and the circus area where the boulders regenerate (once you have upgraded your hammer of course). Lilangel is right though, if you have the cash, buying the material is probably an ok move as well.

I would have to agree. The easiest stone lumber is the lumber you just buy from Gotz.

Just hire the lumber/orange team in every possible area sometimes if you do this you get a glitch where you automatically get 999 pieces of lumber the first day they work
