Sengoku would have to be my least fav as i don't like the way how his face is shaped as it looks kinda odd and not really a fan of writing ^^;

Rod comes close to being my 2nd least fav as well as i just feel there is another animal loving character like Ash was on ToTT

Sengoku (his name reminds me makes me think of goku from dbz combined with sensubean lol) and Celka are actually.... my favorites.

Sengoku comes across as a mature kinda guy.. With his own interesting past. im looking forward to some good dialogue from him. Im hoping that the reason why he quit will be revealed. As far as his appearance it comes across as comfortable in my eyes.

Celka is so cute. I can see how he comes off as submissive, but i like that :heart:

They are my preferences as odd as that might sound. :oops:

Im not fond of Allen. eww. OR Neil. seriously... he's like Gray/Blue/Vaugn buuut less cute. Im finding it hard to even look his way. Rod is cute but thats it.

This is exactly why I like Sengoku, and why I plan on marrying him in my girl file, I just don't understand why everyone thinks he looks old, he doesn't even seem to be that old to me, but then that is only my opinion...

I don't really think Sengoku looks that old. It's just that some of the bachelors just look.... young.

Celka. He just sounds boring. I doubt I 'll even talk to him when I get the game, he just seems like a background character that you forget about (like Jake's dad from RF2)

And Sengoku. Yeah seriously, if I want to marry an old man I'll just get my DS Cute out >.>

Though honestly I don't think he is that old (especially if you HAVE played DS Cute) he just is probably too mature for me haha
If his personality is fun then I might change my mind however, but from what I've read I probably wounldn't have any fun chacing after him :/

I didn't think Sengoku looked that old either, but he talks about his age all the time, I can't tell if he's joking or if he really is past his 40s
His personality isn't bad, but he feels like an uncle, not a marriage candidate...

Celka is my least favourite right now. I'll probably end up changing my mind once I actually play the game. I'm not a big fan of Rod either.

If I may ask, what's your impression of the other bachelors? What are their personality like and how do they talk?

My impressions of the other bachelors...

Allen - glorious pompous « Tulip ». I think he enjoys getting reactions from people since he is very, very frank. Really he enjoys attention in general to the point that he sometimes sounds like an egomaniac. He is serious about his work though, and holds high standards toward others and even higher standards towards himself. Perfectionist.

Rod - Cheerful, optimistic, on the naive side. Allen's childhood friend, though he seems to want to be everyone's friend. I mentioned this before but he seems like he would do well as a camp counselor. Likes sports too. I imagine he's like the mediator between Allen and Neil since they have almost opposite personalities and would butt heads a lot, though the three of them hang out during events

Sengoku - Laid-back and friendly, but yeah I don't know how old he really is. He talks about his age a lot and refers to himself as an old dude. Has traveled a lot but is ready to settle down and retire, though he still enjoys writing. I haven't seen "another side" to him yet but I know he hangs out with Gardner and Claus unlike the younger dudes who all kinda group together

Celka - I only just met him in my file. Very reserved and polite, though the politeness makes him seem a bit distant. Smiles a lot and likes gardening. He puts others' needs before his own, not just as Amir's butler.

Neil - He's my favorite, but I'll try to keep it unbiased... Like I mentioned before, he's sort of the opposite of Allen personality-wise (much kinder to you when you lose in a festival, too). Has a really rough/crude manner of speech and is more sensitive than he tries to appear, he just seems afraid of making close connections to people. Doesn't have a very high opinion of himself and doesn't expect anything from other people. Loves animals and music. Is really chill once you get to know him and a reliable worker.

Amir - He was already in GrB so I don't know if there's that much to say about him that would be news.

I have to agree with you from the dialouge I've read, Nurse Fin. I think I actually like Allen's pushyness, though, but that's just me.I think i probably like Rod the least, mostly becuase my first impressions of him where viewing him as a childish person, but we'll see what happens when I actually BUY the game, lol :twisted:

I think Rod and Sengoku..
Rod just seems very bland and boring. I'm sure he's nice, but I prefer the jerks for some reason...
Sengoku, I just see him as being rather boring as well. He also seems too old, which is fine, I loved Griffen in DSCute, but he's not my "type" of older guy if that makes any sense...

Just based off of looks alone -

Sengoku - One of my friends (he sometimes plays HM games) told me that Sengoku looks like Tom Cruise and now I can't unsee it. So he is a definite "no" for me. I am glad they finally put an older looking guy in the games though.

Amir and Celka - I don't understand the hair color. I think I would be fine with them if they didn't have such weird hair. It makes me not want to marry them. I am married to a Filipino IRL so I am used to Dark Skin = Dark Hair. I wouldn't even have minded funky colors but the really really light white/pink/blueish? No. Just no.

Rod and Niel - are cute at least? They are both animal lovers, if they can maintain that personality without becoming obsessive-compulsive about it like Kana... I really wanted to marry him in ToTT but I couldn't handle the constant Horse Talk.

As for Allen, no opinion yet. He looks interesting but the attitude, man. I don't put up with that. If his English version ends up at all like Luke I will have to say NO WAY.

I think I might have to play this one as a guy, at least in a second file or something. Almost all of the bachelorettes look interesting! Maybe not Felicia and Witch Princess but the rest do.

and don't worry, Neil and Rod don't talk about animals all that much. I think Rod more openly squees about the cuteness of animals though. If you talk to him wearing the cat costume, he flips out thinking he's discovered an awesome new breed. Neil's fondness for animals is very subdued when he is around other people, unless you shove a cat in his face, but behind the scenes he's probably like Sakaki from Azumanga Daioh. :p Either way it's nowhere near the level of Kana's obsession.

I'm just worried they'll translate Allen into being Luke-ish since sometimes they redo dialogue and things for the NA audience, and we have a LOT less typical personality types than the Japanese do, in our general entertainment areas. I suppose it is a weird thing to worry about since I am not at all planning to date Allen... then again, these games have made all my planning go awry on multiple occasions in the past. *sweat drop*
