Ushi No Tane - Harvest Moon

ok so i have been playing hm:gb now for over a year and im getting very fustrated. im trying to marry angelo and its just now working. how long does it usually take to win over someones heart? is there something special i have to do?
i have gotten further in hm:tott and i havent had it as long...
someone help! before i explode!

I'm not sure, I'm in winter first year and got Angelo to blue heart already. Are you talking to him everyday and giving him gifts? I remember at first I just gave him flowers [I guess they were called moondrop] then when I've got enough money to afford chocolate I was buying it in bazaar from Felix and gave him one every day [he loves it]. You can also wrap flowers/chocolate in yellow paper to boost his lp a little.

Make sure you do the heart events.

Ah, also, to see Angelo's blue heart event you need to raise your friendship points with Kevin [that little boy with blue hat] to 5000 - just give him bugs/frogs you catch everyday and you should have 5000 fp in no-time.
